The Khorasan mines with an estimated reserves of 74 million tons of

barite, was discovered in the year 1954 and it’s estimated that the Mine will serve industry requirements for few more decades.

The mine has remaining Barytes reserves of 50 million tons and

remaining lifetime of 17 to 20 years. The Khorasan Barytes project is

the major source of revenue for Khorasan barites mines
