Delphi Technologies’ DS diagnostic platform now offers valid license holdersaccess to protected functions, and full diagnostic capability, for the latestFiat Chrysler Automobiles vehicles fitted with the security gateway

Feature availability Subscription feesThe FCA Security Gateway unlocking feature is available only with a valid DS license.

At expiry of the DS license, the diagnosis of the FCA vehicles fitted with the Security Gateway is limited to some read-only functions. No Fault Code can be erased

Delphi Technologies has no control or influence on the FCA subscription costs.

They can change anytime without prior notice. Please refer to FCA website for up-to-date fees.

Requirements for use of the feature

The user registration on the FCA website (create an account)

Online purchase of a subscription from FCA (various models are available – See OEM portal)

A login and password to be entered in the DS software. These credentials are obtained by the user at end of registration process on FCA website

DoIP detection mechanismDelphi Technologies’ DS diagnostics platform nowincludes a new mechanism to manage use of DoIPadaptor

When connected to the vehicle, the DS software nowchecks both the presence of the DoIP adaptor, and therequirement of the vehicle being diagnosed

If the vehicle requires use of DoIP adaptor, a dialoguebox prompts user to connect the equipment

This mechanism prevents incorrect connection and resulting fault codes

JLR service reset capabilityDelphi Technologies’ DS diagnostics platformhas expanded the capability for Jaguar LandRover vehicles in this software release, withincreased security algorithms implemented

Further security algorithms, in particular for LandRover Discovery 4 and 5, will be implemented infuture software releases

The DTC-Assist feature is available only with a valid DS license.

At expiry of the DS license, the supporting information for the DTCs reverts to:

/ Freeze Frame data/ Link to VTI (if VTI license still valid)

DTC-Assist covers the car brands and models listed.

The 3 sections of DTC-Assist may not have same depth of coverage.
