wedding reception hoursLuncheon reception hours are scheduled from 10:00am to 2:00pm and dinnerreception hours are scheduled from 4:00pm to 10:30pm.

vendorsWe request all vendors to deliver, flowers, cakes, audio visual, etc. no sooner thantwo hours prior to your scheduled event. All items must be removed following theevent, unless arrangements have been made with your Catering Sales Manager. Allvendors must supply all their own equipment for set up.

food and beverageNo food or beverage may be brought into the hotel by the guests or personsattending the functions. All food and beverages will be supplied by the hotel.

securityHyatt Santa Barbara will not assume responsibility for the damage or loss of anymerchandise or articles left on the premises prior to or following your ceremony orreception. Should you wish to hire security services, suggestions are availablethrough your catering manager. Please ensure someone from your wedding partysecures any gifts left at your wedding. The hotel will not be responsible for giftremoval. This includes all vendor equipment on property.

service charge and taxA 21% service fee and 7.75% state sales tax will be added to all food and beverageand ceremony charges. The service fee will be applied to all service personelinvolved in your wedding.

ceremony informationSanta Barbara has beautiful outdoor ceremony venues scattered throughoutthe city. Our most common ceremony site is directly across from the hotel atsparkling East Beach, however we are able to host your ceremony at severalsites throughout the city. Our ceremony package includes complete set up,breakdown and monitoring of ceremony site. Our sound technician providesyour unique ceremony music, microphone and wireless speakers. Our staff setswhite folding chairs, a ceremony arch, a unique seashell aisle and a canopiedbeverage station providing lemonade and iced tea for your guests. Ceremonyfee $2000. Transportation fee may apply for sites off East Beach. confirmation of space and depositAn initial nonrefundable deposit of $2000 is required to confirm your date alongwith a signed contract. payments50% of your estimated wedding charges are due (3) months prior to yourwedding date. Final payment in the form of a cashier’s check moneyorder, credit card or cash is due at least ten (10) business days priorto the wedding date.

guaranteeA final guarantee is due three business days prior to your event. Once receivedthis number may not be reduced. We will be prepared to serve 3% over theguaranteed number. gift bagsThere will be a $3 delivery fee apply to any gift bags delivered to your guests'rooms. guest accommodationsA room block may be setup for guests attending your wedding at Hyatt SantaBarbara. Check in time is 4:00pm, and check out time is 12 noon. We hold tenrooms for your guests at a reduced wedding group rate. More rooms may beadded, as availability allows.
