Course Dateswww.eou.edu/regis/calendarEastern Oregon University delivers its courses on the quarter system. Each term has 10 weeks of teaching plus one week of finals. The calendar Web link above outlines many important deadlines. Please review your course syllabus for details of specific dates.

Learning OpportunitiesEOU offers courses in three different delivery modes: on campus, online and onsite at regional campuses.

On Campus These courses take place face-to-face in a traditional classroom at our main campus in La Grande, Oregon.

OnlineOnline courses take place over the Internet

through the use of a computer. If you enroll in an online course, it will require that you have regular access to the Internet, are able to communicate via e-mail with your instructor, can use a Web browser and use a word processing program. It also may require that you have access to a proctor with a computer connection for taking exams. EOU online courses are available anywhere in the 50 United States, Canada, to military personnel abroad with an APO address and across the glove as approved by the Office of Admissions.

OnsiteOnsite courses take place face-to-face in a traditional classroom or fieldwork setting. If you enroll in an onsite course, it may require that you attend a class at a designated site over a weekend or on multiple dates during the term. It may also require that you complete some coursework prior to your first class and after your final class session. Please check the course syllabus for the date(s) and location of your onsite course. Some combination of the same computer skills required for online courses may also be required for onsite courses.
