See question 5.Supplier Response:1. Generation of Heat, partly or wholly fuelled from oil2. Generation of Heat, wholly fuelled from a non-renewable source3. A District Heating connection3. Repair of existing measure4. Materially different to those delivered under any ECO scheme. 6. Materially different to those measures notified under ECO3. 3If the measure is partly fuelled by renewables, provide details including the fuel types. We are looking for assurance that the measure type is eligible under the ECO3 Order.Maximum 100 words.Supplier Response:4Can you confirm that the measures will be delivered to eligible households? We are looking for assurance that measures will be delivered to eligible households. These may include the Help to Heat Group, and the Social Rented Sector, EPC Band D, E, F and G.Maximum 100 words.Supplier Response:5Can you provide further information on how the measure is 'materially different?'

[To the best of your knowledge, the product has not been delivered under ECO previously, and is materially different from measures delivered under previous ECO schemes and measures that are notified under ECO3.]We are looking for confirmation that the measure is eligible under the ECO3 Order, specifically that the measure is materially different that those delivered under any ECO scheme. Please provide technical details and supporting evidence as appropriate to support the assertions.

'Materially different' could mean all of or a combination of the following (or other sufficient detail to distinguish the measure from other measures that are materially different):material used, technology usedmethod used, including production and installation methodsexpected cost of promoting the measure, expected cost savings or other benefits of the measureSupporting evidence/information accepted.Maximum 500 words.Supplier Response:6Can you confirm [YES/NO] that measures delivered under this application, if approved, would fall within the supplier's Innovation Measure sub-cap?Suppliers will retain responsibility for ensuring that they meet their obligation requirements. This is an opportunity to consider the obligation and filter out relevant applications before they are put forward to the Technical Assessment Panel.Answer YES or NO.Supplier Response:7How is the measure capable of achieving savings by increasing energy efficiency, and therefore meet the standard measure eligibility criteria of ECO?We are looking for confirmation that the measure is eligible under the ECO3 Order, specifically that it will increase energy efficiency and achieve cost savings for space heating.

This section should describe the physical mechanism by which the savings are achieved. For example, "the new material is predicted to have a thermal conductivity of x because...; the new material is predicted to improve airtightness by x because...; the new heating type is predicted to have an efficiency of x, because...".Maximum 500 words.Supplier Response:8Describe how the measure is an improvement on existing ECO3 measures or measures under previous ECO schemes.Under this application, the measure should describe the improvement. Either i, ii or both.

i) This could relate to a new material with improved performance. We are also looking for evidence of how the product performs in the market.

ii) This could relate to a new installation technique.

Provide further detail against the relevant headings below.installation technique has demonstrable improvements for:Energy efficiencySpeed of installationCost of installationIncrease in the range or number of homes installations can take place inReduced disruption/inconvenience to householderSuppliers are encouraged to demonstrate the differences between existing ECO3 measures and the new measure in a table format attached as an appendix, to clearly demonstrate the improvement. Supporting evidence/information accepted.Maximum 500 words.Supplier Response:9Explain how Technical Monitoring requirements could be met for this measure type, and how you may deliver this. The existing Technical Monitoring requirements under ECO may not be sufficient for new innovation measures. We are looking for assurance that the supplier has considered the TM requirements for the measure, and included any additional or different monitoring requirements in their application.Maximum 200 words.Supplier Response:10How does the measure meet the safety and standards requirements of ECO3?

What certification has the measure got and what assurances can be given? We are looking for assurance that all relevant safety requirements as determined under ECO, such as product certificates and Building Regulations are in place.

Furthermore we are looking for high installation standards that meet ECO requirements including any relevant standards and/or other appropriate certification.Supporting evidence/information accepted.Maximum 200 words.Supplier Response:11Does the lifetime of the measure meet existing lifetimes? If not, explain the reason. We are looking for confirmation that the measure meets at least the existing lifetimes.Supporting evidence/information accepted.Maximum 100 words.Supplier Response:12Does the measure introduce any new risks? OR does it mitigate any risks for existing measure types? a) We want to understand if you have considered possible new risks introduced by this measure, and how these will be mitigated.

b) If it actually mitigates risks present for existing measure, explain how.YES/NO against a) and/or b) and provide further information if YES.Maximum 200 words.Supplier Response:13What is the estimated number of measures expected to be delivered under this application? We want to understand if the numbers justify inclusion in the scheme, but at the same time suppliers should be aware that only measures delivered up to the innovation sub cap (5% of a supplier's obligation) will receive the uplift. Anything delivered above this will not receive an uplift.Maximum 100 words.Supplier Response:
