• TWO MCQ papers Paper A: Basic Sciences Paper B: Clinical Anaesthesia

• 2 hours allowed per paper • 60 x 5 (300) questions per paper

• Each question set comprises:

– a question stem – followed by 5 True / False statements

• Do as many MCQ’s as you can

• Practice the True/ False format • Complete papers in the allocated time • Decide if you are a good guesser!

• Form a MCQ Group Study (Night Club)

• Read first all (5) options before answering

• Finish first the questions you know (different colors)

• Know the meaning of common terms used in MCQ’s (always, never etc.)

If you don’t know the answer, move on and return to the question at the end

• Longer, more specific answers are more likely to be correct

• Very precise figures-19.3%...are unlikely to be correct

• Leave time to check only glaring errors • Remember: your first guess is most likely to be right. Do
