My team makes things happen! This month, in collaboration with the Fire and EMS Department and Serve DC, theytrained 100 people on the Hands on Hearts CPR Program. We also continued the Food Distribution initiative in Ward 1and Ward 4 with the Capital Area Food Bank. Later in the month we worked in partnership with the DC Office of thePeople's Counsel to host an educational workshop on energy efficiency. Additionally, we hosted a workshop with theDCHA on how to navigate their new website and better serve the Latino community. This training was done inconjunction with the Mayor's Office on Asian Pacific Islander Affairs and is open to non profits and organizations thatprovide services to Latino constituents. The Mayor's Office on Latino Affairs joined Mayor Bowser on thebudget engagement forums. We were happy to see our Latino constituents and community leaders contributing toshape priorities for next year's budget.
