Many of our visiting authors will be presenting specially-tailored educational sessions for schools and universities during Abu Dhabi International Book Fair.Authors included in this strand include noted Arab world historian and Oxford professor Eugene Rogan, illustrators extraordinaire Curtis Jobling and Sarah McIntyre, and best-selling young adult author Ali Sparkes.

Educational Programme

Welcome to Abu DhabiInternational Book Fair 2019!In 2019, Abu Dhabi International Book Fair aims to present an expanded and greatly enhanced cultural and entertainment programme, in collaboration with the Emirates Literature Foundation. The 2019 programme has four pillars: Cultural, Professional, Educational and, for the first time, Special Events.

In total, Abu Dhabi International Book Fair will present over 80 fun and informative sessions, with more than 25 in the Cultural programme, 14 in the Educational programme, 13 in the Professional programme, as well as six Special Events and a host of other surprises.
