Horizon 2020 - Overview

The EU’s new 2014 to 2020 research and innovation funding programme Increased overall budget of €70 billion A single programme bringing together three EU previous programmes Increased focus on innovation – from research to market, all forms of innovation Increased emphasis on demonstrating Impact Focus on major societal challenges facing EU society, e.g. health, clean energy

and resource efficiency Single reimbursement rate per project for all types of organisation:

100% + 25% for a research and innovation project 70% + 25% for an innovation project
