Quip:
Joe Giannetti gave us several jokes to brighten our day. A father was telling his son who was about to get married. I want to give you a little advice. On our honeymoon I said to your mother. Come here, I want to tell you something. He took his pants off and told her to try these pants on. She tried them on and said I can’t fit into these pants. He said exactly. I want you to know I wear the pants in the house. So the son took the advice and on his honeymoon he said to his wife I want to show you something. He took his pants off and told her to try them on. I can’t fit into these pants. He said EXACTLY. I wear the pants in the house and what I say goes. So she thought for a moment and took her pants off and said to him try these pants on. So he struggled and struggled and he said I can’t get into these pants. She said EXACTLY. With that attitude you never will. An elderly farmer one day went down to the pond to get some water for his plants. As he neared the pond he heard female voices talking and laughing with glee and as he came close he said a bunch of young women skinny dipping. He made the women aware of his presence and they all went to the deep end of the pond and one of the women shouted out, “We’re not coming out until you leave”. The old man thought and said, “That’s no problem. I didn’t come down here to watch you ladies swim. I came down to feed my alligator.” Getting in shape – I feel like my body is getting totally out of shape, so I took my doctor’s suggestion and joined a gym. I decided to take aerobics for seniors. I bent. I twisted. I gyrated. I jumped up and down and perspired for an hour. By the time I the time I got my sneakers on the class was over. Morris, an 82 year guy, went to see the doctor to get a physical. A few days later the doctor saw Morris walking down the street with this gorgeous young woman. A few days later, Morris went to the see the doctor again and the doctor said to him, “You’re really doing great, aren’t you”. Morris said, “Absolutely, doctor. I got a hot mamma and I’m cheerful.” The doctor thought for a moment and he said, “I didn’t say that. I said you got a heart murmur and an earful. A 65 year old guy picked a new primary care physician and after 2 visits and exhaustive lab tests, he said, “ I’m doing fairly well for my age aren’t I?” “Doctor, do you think I’ll live to be 80?” The Doctor said, “Do you smoke?” “No.” “Do you drink beer or wine? “No.” “Do you eat steak?” “No.” “Do you eat barbeque ribs”. “No.” “Do you spend any time in the sun? Do you like to play golf? Do you sail, hike, bike?” “No.” “Do you gamble? Drive fast cars? Do you like sex?” “No.” “Why the hell do you want to be 80?”

Service Leadership Programs: Family night will be April 23rd. Please come and help out or join us as we support our SLPs.
What’s Happening:
Kiwanis Komedy Night:
On March 29th, our club held the 2nd annual Komedy Night which proved to be a great successful fundraiser. The financial results are not all in yet so
we’ll save that for the next bulletin. The North Italian Club was filled to just about capacity and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and the
comedians. We were entertained by Mark Brennan, Krystal Dyer and Howie Mason. What a great night thanks to Lauren Rizzuto who chaired the
event and the help of the board members and others. This was a joint effort and could not have been a success without everyone’s contribution.
