Welcome to the 23rd year of the Eldorado Studio Tour!Open Studios: May 17-18, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.
The Eldorado Arts and Crafts Association is proud to spon-sor the 23rd annual studio tour. This year, the largest tour in New Mexico showcases 90 professional artists and artisans. Work exhibited includes painting, ceramics and clay sculp-ture, drawing, glass, jewelry, photography, and printmak-ing. Also included are woodworking, digital images, fiber and wearable art, mixed media and recycled arts.
Preview Gallery Pre-Tour Viewing: May 3-16, 12 p.m.-6 p.m. (closed Sunday, May 4)Tour Hours: May 17-18, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
View the art. Note your favorites in the brochure. Plan your weekend.To better plan your Studio Tour weekend, we invite you to visit the Preview Gallery in the La Tienda at Eldorado Exhib-it Space. There you can view samples of the creative works of our artists and artisans and choose the studios you want to visit. The Preview Gallery will also be open for two weeks prior to the tour. The gallery will be open on May 17-18, the Saturday and Sunday of the tour from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
Artists ReceptionMay 16, 5 p.m.-7 p.m.The tour weekend kicks off on Friday evening with an Artists Reception at the La Tienda at Eldorado Exhibit Space. At the reception, you will be able to meet and talk with the artists and preview their work while listening to the music of David Yard and Doug Franz.

Each participating artist donates a percentage of his or her sales from the tour to support selected programs in the community. The Eldorado Arts and Crafts Association (EACA) donates an average of $4500 each year to Eldorado commu-nity organizations.

Directions to the Preview GalleryLa Tienda at Eldorado Exhibit Space7 Caliente Road, Santa FeEldorado is located 12 miles southeast of Santa Fe on US 285 off I-25 at exit 290. Drive south on 285 to the second traffic light and turn right onto Avenida Vista Grande. Take the first left onto Caliente Road, and then turn left into La Tienda at Eldorado. Follow the signs to the Preview Gallery in the Exhibit Space, Suite A-6.

Please join more than 40 Eldorado artists at the Eldorado Arts and Crafts Assocation Fall Show, on Friday, October 24, from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 25, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Located at St. John’s United Methodist Church at 1200 Old Pecos Trail (at Cordova), this show is an excellent opportunity for Eldorado and Santa Fe residents alike to meet our artists and purchase their work. The Fall Show is also an excellent opportunity to get a jumpstart on your holiday shopping. Choose from jewelry, wearable art, weaving, glass, recycled art, sculpture, paintings, birdhous-es, ceramics, photography, painted gourds, fiber art, and photography. Many of your favorite artists from the Studio Tour will be showing their artwork at the Fall Show. We hope to see you again in October!

Become a member of the Eldorado Arts and Crafts Association
Formed in 1991, by a small group of ten artists who want-ed to share ideas and techniques along with their interest in creating art, the Eldorado Arts and Crafts Association numbers nearly 200 members today. In addition to monthly meetings, members host monthly Shop Talks in their studios to provide art demonstrations or marketing strat-egies. Another group of plein air painters gathers weekly to explore the back roads of New Mexico. Figure Drawing studio sessions are offered weekly for a small model fee.
Artists who are members of the organization and also live on streets accessible from the three entrance roads to the community from US 285 are eligible to participate in the Spring Studio Tour and the Fall Show.
