Multi-Way Switching & Dimming explained The DIMPBD or MEPBE can be set up to control lighting or other loads in a multiway format by the addition of the MEPBMW. The MEPBMW provides signals to the master via the white remote signal button and allows it to perform the same control functions of either switching or dimming depending on which master mech is connected (MEPBE or DIMPBD).

The MEPBMW requires an active to be connected and it is optional to connect the Neutral as it is required if the LED function on the button is to be used. Multiple MEPBMW units can be added to the circuit to provide greater control functionality providing the installation guidelines are followed. See instruction example shown adjacent.

The (DIMPBD or MEPBE) can be connected with multiple MEPBMW (for example, four) provided that the total length of the circuit distance is less than 50m.
