2L Sample Mandate for POEs Tab 8: DWA-61-2013-11

• Originated from material safety test in DWTU standards

2L Sample Mandate for POEs Tab 8: DWA-61-2013-11

• Originated from material safety test in DWTU standards

• DWTU standards only use 1 test water chemistry

2L Sample Mandate for POEs Tab 8: DWA-61-2013-11

• Originated from material safety test in DWTU standards

• DWTU standards only use 1 test water chemistry

• POEs now evaluated under NSF/ANSI 61 and are evaluated to three different waters (pH 5, 10, and 8)

2L Sample Mandate for POEs Tab 8: DWA-61-2013-10

• Originated from material safety test in DWTU standards

• DWTU standards only use 1 test water chemistry

• POEs now evaluated under NSF/ANSI 61 and are evaluated to three different waters (pH 5, pH 10, and pH 8)

• Means a mandate of three times as many samples under NSF/ANSI 61 which may not be needed for analytical reasons.

Proposed revision:

Note: Additional units are to be exposed if additional extraction water is needed to complete analysis…
