ENF INFO Tish McCauley ENF ChairBIG thanks to everyone who has pledged their $10 membership to ENF this year, and espe-cially to those of you who have contributed more than the minimum amount! Thanks to YOU,our Lodge has reached our Per Capita goal of $4.60 for this Elk year! If you havent done soyet, it is never too late to pledge your $10 to join and get your Heart on Your Card! Contactthe office to join ENF today.

ENF provides most of funding that help supports Elks programs including Veterans, Youth, Major Project, andScholarships. In addition, there are several different types of grants geared toward Elks making an invest-ment in our communities. This year alone, Elks will invest $8.5 million this year in our communities throughthese grants! For instance, our Lodge recently used the Gratitude Grant from last Elk year to donate $2000to the Fresh Rescue Food Bank. If you are aware of a need that we might be able to meet with one of thegrants, or if you would like to join the ENF committee, please let me know. It should be noted, each grant hasvery specific parameters that must be met, and include Elks member participation in the programs. You canlearn more about the specifics for each type of grant by referencing the ENF section at Elks.org, or pick upone of the brochures in the Jolly Corks. The more you know

Most of us joined the Elks to be a part of something bigger than ourselves, and ENF provides each of us asimple and inexpensive opportunity to make a difference in a big way. Dont let this opportunity get past you.

    Thanksgiving Food DriveChallenge

We support the food pantry all year long, but at this time of year

its even more important to help those in need.

From now until Thanksgiving, Please collect and bring items to

Wednesday night meetings so we can stock the shelves of the

    food pantry.

New member Karen Yoshikawa-Garcia is heading up this chal-

lenge. She has been calling family members and friends and col-

lecting food item donations for the past month.

Lets all follow suit and truly make a difference here.
