The Wonders of God’s name – Elohim (א�ל�ה�ים)

(1) Elohim - The Mighty Creator God

(2) Elohim - The Covenant God

(3) Elohim - The One Triune God who has value and

purpose for us

Elohim – The Only True God who created everything from nothing

“He spoke, and it was done; He commanded, and it stood fast” Ps

33:9.

“By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was not made out of things which are visible”(Hebrews 11:3).

can’t have a design without a designer,

you can’t have a painting without a

painter.

Elohim .. created the beauty of His creation out of the wasteland ( Gen1:1-2 & Is 61: 1-3)“To console those who mourn

in Zion. To give them beauty for ashes. The oil of joy for

mourning. The garment of praise for the spirit of

heaviness. That they may be called trees of righteousness. The planting of the LORD, that

He may be glorified.”

(2) Elohim - The Covenant God

“Because Elohim wanted to make the unchanging nature of his purpose very clear to the heirs of what was promised, He confirmed it with an oath. God did this so that, by two unchangeable things in which it is impossible for God to lie, we who have fled to take hold of the hope set before us may be greatly encouraged.

(3) Elohim - The One Triune God who has value and

purpose for us

The word Elohim is a plural word, yet the verb that follows is always in the singular. It means that God is Father, Son and Spirit, three in One and One in three are working as one.Not : 1+1+1= 3 gods BUT 1x1x1=1

“God created us male and female in his own image” (Gen 1:27). “For I know the plans that I have for you, declares the

LORD, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you a

future and a hope” (Jer 29:11).

Elohim is the name which we need to know before all others.

The first revealed in Holy Scripture; for it shows us One,

who, when all is lost, in darkness and confusion, brings

back, first His light and life, and then His image, into the creature, and so makes all

things new and very good. He has promised “I make

everything New”. Say Yes Amen Come Lord Jesus. Blessed be

His name.
