A WORD FROM THE ACTS 220 PRAYER MOVEMENT DIRECTOROur world, church, and the kingdom at-large are facing very challenging times. It is a time of "shaking", "shift", "unsettledness" and sometimes great turmoil. I want to encourage you to "stand" during this time. Do not be moved by what is going on around you, but remain firm in your faith, stay focused on Christ and “Prayed” up. While this "shaking" is taking place, make sure that all that "shakes" out of you is what God has put in you and not anything that would disqualify you in this hour. The "shaking" is inevitable, it must happen so that God can uncover, unearth, and reveal those who are His. Your faith, beliefs, and views will be tested, but I encourage you to pass the test in this hour, be found faithful and profitable for the Master's use. Like Jesus, you should be able to say "Satan comes and finds nothing in me" (John 14:30). With all that occurs, remember God is in control. He is sovereign - the world in His, the church is His, the people are His, and leaders are subjected to Him. In the midst of all that happens, God is raising up those who will lead with passion, purpose, and who love Him and serve His people. I encourage you to strive to be a Paul (one who mentors) and not a Saul (one who tears down). Strive to be a Silas (Acts 16) and not a Barnabas (Acts 15) - you cannot “bail-out, back-out, back-down, back-up, back-track, burn-out, or back-away”. Paul in his final letters to Timothy, encouraged him to stand, "stir up the gifts" on the inside, and endure hardships (2 Timothy 1:6; 2 Timothy 2). Paul had been with Timothy, journeyed with him, built churches with him, experienced persecutions/suffering, and at the end of his life and ministry, Paul charged him to continue on. My friends continue on in spite of, regardless of.... This is your time to stand and lead, "you are built for this".
