All participants will be muted throughout the presentation.
If you experience difficulty with audio using your computer speakers, click on the tab “Communicate”
at the top and then choose “Speaker/Microphone Audio Test” from the drop down menu. Test your
speaker – your microphone will not work as we have muted all participants so that background noise
will not be an issue. To use your telephone for audio, click on the “Event Info” tab to access
the phone numbers, access code, and your attendee ID # (which is unique to you).

A word about how to use these skills…
Take or make time and opportunity for training and practice:
when your child is relaxed and happy
after eliciting mild to moderate states of arousal in your child
Practice makes it easier for your child to get there when they need it
Fills reservoir which moderates frequency, intensity, and duration of upset
Talk about how you might use these activities, and
Use narration during times of mild to moderate arousal to support your
child’s efforts
