• What is Conn's syndrome?

- disease of the adrenal glands

- excess production of a aldosterone

- primary hyperaldosteronism.

- it is a potentially curable cause of high blood pressure (hypertension).

- patients with hypertension (high blood pressure), up to 15 per cent

may have this condition.

• What are the symptoms?- High blood pressure (hypertension)

- increase the loss of the mineral potassium in the urine.

- polyuria

- Nocturia

- these symptoms are also found in many other conditions (for example, diabetes mellitus or hypercalcaemia)

- do not, by themselves, establish a diagnosis of Conn's syndrome.

3. CUSHING’S SYNDROME

• ควำมหมำย :

Cushing syndrome is a disorder that occurs when body has a

high level of the hormone cortisol.

• Cause :excess free plasma glucocorticoids, the most common cause of

Cushing syndrome is taking too much glucocorticosteroid medicine. Prednisone, dexamethasone, and prednisolone are examples of this type of medicine.

patients with chorionic disorder which he called struma lymphosa In 1912

-itis = inflammation of an organ

• ควำมหมำย : Hashimoto’s disease is an autoimmune disease that

make one’s immune system turn against one’s own thyroid gland. This can lead to hypothyroidism.

• Symptoms :

fatigue, weight gain, muscle & joint pain, thinned hair, paleness of face, constipation, difficult to pregnant, unable to get warm, depression, slowed heart rate and irregulation menstruation

PCOS is a common endocrine system disorder among women of reproductive age. This is a condition in which a woman has an imbalance of female sex hormones. Women with PCOS may have enlarged ovaries that contain small collections of fluid - called follicles - located in each ovary as seen during an ultrasound exam.
