Because of Parent/Teacher Conferences, there will not be Legacy Hall for students in 5th-12th grade on Thursday, September 28. Please make other arrangements for your students after school.

Parents, encourage your students to check the Lost and Found (located at the bottom of the main stairway). You can also check to see if anything belongs to your student(s) while you are here for Parent/Teacher Conferences. There are some very nice jackets and hoodies that need to find their owners. The Lost and Found will be donated at the end of the month.

October Lunch Orders Fall is upon us - next week is the first week of October. If you haven't already placed your October lunch order for your student(s), please send a lunch from home with them on Monday as the deadline for ordering Monday's lunch is past. If you would like to order for the rest of October, please place your order today. Remember, if your student will be off campus for Service Day on Friday, October 6, you can cancel their lunch for that day by going into your account and cancelling before 8:00 am to receive a credit.

Picture Retake Day If your student(s) did not get their school picture taken at Open House, or if they need to have them retaken, Picture Retake Day is Monday, October 2. PSAT On Wednesday, October 11 the juniors will be taking the PSAT exam. This practice SAT exam also gives students the opportunity to qualify for the National Merit Scholarship. Students will test here at Legacy from 7:40-11:40 am. College/Scholarship Applications If your senior student needs help with college or scholarship applications, he/she will be able to come to Legacy from 9:00 am-12:00 noon on Friday, September 29 for a focused time of working on applications. A separate email with more details will be sent to seniors and their parents. College Financial Aid Evening Please mark your calendars for Monday, October 23 from 6:30-8:30 pm for Legacy's College Financial Aid Informational Evening.

ATHLETICS Dan Olufson Named Boys Hockey Head Coach The LCA Athletic Department is pleased to announce the hiring of Dan Olufson as Boys Hockey Head Coach for the 2017-18 season. In a search that has lasted almost 5 full months, included over 27 potential candidates, and resulted in 12 interviews, we have found the answer on our own bench! • Sunday, October 1: Captains practice begins! Payment of $125 is due to your captains (Jarvey Hill and Noah Hansen) prior to the first ice session.

• Sunday, October 1: From 5:00-6:00 pm there will be a Hockey Open House for all returning and potential players/families in the Figure Skating Center off of Rink 5/6 at the NSC.

Volleyball Youth Night Youth Volleyball Players: This is for you! We would love for you to join us this Thursday, September 28 at LCA for our Volleyball Youth Night event! The Varsity Volleyball Team will take on New Life Academy at 7:00 pm! All youth volleyball players will receive free admission to the game and a free gift! Simply wear your team jersey and check in at the gate. We hope to see you there.

MS Fall Sports Pictures Pictures will be taken for all of our middle school fall sports teams on Tuesday, October 3. Team specific information will be sent out via email from your prospective coach.
