86 Electronics and Computer Engineering Technology In response to the increasing need for qualified personnel with a solid background in electronics and computer engineering technology, Centennial offers a number of certificate programs in both industrial and consumers electronics. You will receive solid education in theory as well as hands-on experience in our modern electronics, computer and communication laboratories. In order to successfully complete a program, it is suggested that you take courses in the sequence shown. Some prerequisites may be waived for those who demonstrate the necessary background required for the course. This is a preparation and review course for writing the Ontario Ministry of the Environment Water Quality Analyst (WQA) Level 1 certification examination. Topics reviewed will include licensing regulations, regulatory requirements, a review of the metric system, basic chemistry and bacterial concepts, water sampling and storage methods, laboratory equipment, laboratory safety and quality assurance/quality control methods.
