Course Description The course aims to develop students speaking skills for effective communication in diverse
contexts. It likewise endeavors to enhance their listening skills in carrying out meaningful
transactions needed in real communication situations making them communicatively
competent.
Course Intended Learning
Outcomes
After completing this course, the students should be able to:
1. develop effective listening and oral communication skills for small group, dyadic, andpublic communication;
2. demonstrate an understanding of the communication process variables which theyneed to know as they interact in the social world;
3. employ effective listening strategies in given real-life situations or contexts;4. use technological devices for interpersonal and transactional talk, intercultural
