We are only 2 hours from Toronto and from Niagara Falls so day-trips are organized on a regular basis. You can also volunteer with a number of groups in the city to gain even more real-life experience, make friends and create memories.

What is my starting EAP level?To give you an estimate of your EAP Level, you can take the practice test at: www.fanshawec.ca/EAPtest. However, your starting EAP Level will be confirmed by the Fanshawe College English Placement Test that you take when you arrive on campus.

English for Academic Purposes (EAP) Levels

University-level pathways from EAP

Bachelor Degree Programs:Fanshawe College has a growing number of degree programs, and we also have agreements with Western University and its affiliated university colleges - Brescia University College, Huron University College and King’s University College. You can study at university or college without an IELTS or TOEFL score. You can enter Western University or its affiliates as long as you have completed our EAP Program, Level 10 – Advanced Academic Preparation, with a minimum of 80% your courses. You can enter Fanshawe degree programs by completing Level 10 with 75% in your courses. We can assist you to obtain a “Conditional Letter of Acceptance” for any of these degree programs.

Master’s and Doctoral Programs:To enter a Master’s or Doctoral program at Western University, the language requirement is completion of Fanshawe College’s EAP Level 10 - Advanced Academic Preparation, with a minimum 80% in your courses.

EAP Fanshawe Career Program

Welcome to Fanshawe College!Our modern campus is located in London, Canada, a vibrant metro area of 500,000 people in the heartland of south-western Ontario. Enjoy our fully equipped campus which welcomes more than 19,000 students each year, including 2,100 international students from 60 countries. When you study EAP with us, you can enter a Fanshawe College career program or apply to take a degree at Western University without further language testing. Western University is also located in the city of London, Canada. The success of our students is shown in the 90% success rate of employment after graduation.

Accommodations: Homestay: Live with a Canadian family. You will enjoy home-cooked meals and your own private bedroom in a Canadian home. Your homestay family will involve you in Canadian social and cultural activities.

Residence:Four student dormitories allow you to live on campus in a fully furnished suite with TV and kitchen. Your private bedroom will include Internet access and phone. Each floor has a common lounge where you can study, watch TV and relax with your new friends.
