It is a comprehensive list, but your student is only responsible for the courses he or she is currently taking. • Spend 10 mins sight reading and looking for trouble spots in your selection. You can CLAP or TAP on a desk/table. You can even get creative with finding something that is like drumsticks to play.
• Anything that has slashes on the rhythm is a roll, do not worry about that, focus on the main rhythm note.
• If you are confused about rhythm counting, watch the demo video by Ms. Porter or e-mail her for a zoom meeting to go over counting
