Dear International Business Leader:
I am pleased to invite you to participate in Enterprise Florida’s export sales mission to Thailand and the Philippines, May 29-June 6, 2020. Both countries are important U.S. export markets with a track record of economic growth and an appetite for U.S. products.
Thailand, the second largest economy in ASEAN after Indonesia, has a gross domestic product (GDP) of $529 billion and saw 4.1% annual growth in 2018. U.S. exports to Thailand totaled $12.6 billion in 2018. Like Florida, Thailand benefits substantially from its tourism industry, which contributed almost 20% to Thailand’s GDP in 2018.
The Thai economy is projected to continue on its growth path. A newly elected government, the expansion of government expenditures, and the acceleration of public investment in key infrastructure projects will contribute to this growth.
The Philippines is the fourth-largest English-speaking country in the world and boasts one of the youngest populations: about 41 percent of its residents are under the age of 20. U.S.-Philippines bilateral trade has grown by almost 70 percent over the last decade and the country now ranks as the 32nd largest export destination for U.S. products.
The Philippines’ sustained economic growth, resilience and strong fiscal position have earned it a credit rating of BBB+, the highest achieved thus far in the country’s credit-rating history. The Philippine government is making provisions for more infrastructure projects, especially road and bridge networks, flood control projects, and military modernization.
I encourage you to join this important mission as we continue the work of creating jobs in Florida through the promotion of international trade.

GRANTSTrade grants will be available to qualified Florida manufacturers and value-added professional service providers, covering $2,600 of the registration fee for the first company representative (for Gold-Key meetings). Please note that the grant is only available for Option 1 Gold Key Package. A separate application process is required for this grant.

FOR GOLD KEY PARTICIPANTSUpon submission of completed registration forms, your products and objectives will be reviewed for product suitability in Bangkok & Manila by U.S. Commercial Service industry experts. Approval takes about 10 business days.
FOR DELEGATESThe Delegate Packages does not require a review and therefore registration is official upon receipt of online registration and payment.
CANCELLATIONSCancellations prior to Friday, March 20, 2020, must be made in writing and sent to Andrea Moore at [email protected].
Registrations submitted after March 20, 2020, are non-refundable.
No VERBAL cancellations will be accepted. For a full refund, cancellations must be received by Friday, March 20, 2020.

*GOLD KEY PARTICIPATION: Gold Key participants will be limited to Florida manufacturers and professional service companies that best meet the participation criteria. Selection of these firms will be on a first-come, first-served basis. Final selection will be determined by the U.S. Commercial Officer after a review to ensure market suitability. Once EFI receives your application form, USCS officers will conduct an assessment of your product or service. You will be notified of approval within approximately 10 business days.
