The Stage & Production Manager (S&PM) is to adhere to the following to maintain a standard level quality performance for the entertainment department. The S&PM is responsible for the following reporting: - Production EOVs and ensuring that direct reports are fulfilling their EOV requirements. Reporting includes all incidents, technical issues, and evaluation of each performance and event. - Cast weigh - ins sent to the Lead Entertainment Productions and appropriate producer contact every 14 days - Rigging check sheets and weekly inspections reports . (see SQM 5.08) - Ensure that the Deficiency Report is being completed (see SQM 1.16 ) - Ensure that the AVAP Experience logs are being completed and sent in (see SQM 5.19) The S&PM is responsible to lead the following meetings once a voyage. - Meeting with the cast . - Meeting with the Dance Captain , Vocal Captain , Aerial Captain and Wardrobe Supervisor . - At this meeting participants will explain deficiencies in their area and communicate

5.1.01 Stage & Production Manager (S& PM)- Performance Quality

The position of Stage & Production Manager has a large responsibility to uphold performance quality and production values. The Stage & Production Manager (S&PM) is to adhere to the following to maintain a standard level quality performance for the entertainment department.

The S&PM is responsible for the following reporting: - Production EOVs and ensuring that direct reports are fulfilling their EOV requirements. Reporting includes all incidents, technical issues, and evaluation of each performance and event.

needs to rectify the deficiencies. (All reported in the EOV report or direct email to head office if need be.)

- Maintenance meeting with the HEO and all operators (AVTF, AVTL , AVTS). - At this meeting each operator will explain deficiencies in their area and communicate needs to rectify the deficiencies. (all reported in the Deficiency Report or direct email to head office if need be) - The S&PM is to ensure all repairs are placed in Issuetrax or that a repair request has been submitted.

It is the S&PM’s responsibility to liaise with other department heads to facilitate all AV and entertainment needs. - The S&PM is responsible to uphold a high level of production value and the allocation of entertainment resources to other departments. - The S&PM is to follow the entertainment resource guide.

The S&PM is responsible to liaise with Guest Entertainers. - Responsible to inform the Documentation Purser, Chief Housekeeper, Guest Relations Manager, Assistant Guest Relation Manger, Guest Accounts Purser, Chief Security, International Host, Financial Controller, Gift Shop Manager and Online Manager whenever a guest entertainer embarks or disembarks.

- Ensures that the cabin for the guest entertainer is assigned to them prior to embarkation.

- Ensures a welcome letter with the following information is placed in the cabin: - Complete schedule of the shows in the theater. - Approximate time of their rehearsal - S&PM and Band Master’s phone numbers - Contact number and Name of Shop Manager (if selling Merchandise) - Explanation of discounts (SQM)

- On the day of the guest entertainer’s arrival, the S&PM will contact them and discuss their show’s technical requirements. - The S&PM is to distribute the technical sheets to the operators and arrange any special requirements with the HEO.

- Responsible to place reimbursements for travel (when needed) and arrange transportation to the airport through the documentation purser.

- Ensures that the guest entertainer has one bottle of water per performance. S&PM to order in crunch time.

The S&PM is responsible for the upkeep the of the Theater and Entertainment spaces on the vessel.

- Ensures the following before a performance in the theater. - The house is clean and presentable. - The house lights are functioning at the proper level. - Proper levels and style of pre-show and post show of music are set. - Stage picture is pleasing and appropriate. - S&PM is to open house 30 minutes prior to the event. - Ensures all lounges and entertainment venues are maintained and presentable. - All lighting, sound, and projection equipment working - Music at correct levels - Clean and presentable

- Ensures that all production elements are maintained and are in good condition. - All drops, curtains, screens and soft goods - All stools, side tables and table cloths for stage - All music stands, stand lights, chairs, and piano are clean and presentable. - All production show elements. - scenery - props - costumes - Ensures regularly scheduled maintenance on all the above.

The S&PM is responsible to oversee scheduling for theater and entertainment events. - To ensure proper rehearsal time for production shows, strength training and theme events for the cast. - To ensure proper rehearsal time and set up for guest entertainers. - To ensure proper time for regular maintenance and show set ups. - To ensure that all shows and theme events are to start on time.

The S&PM is responsible to oversee and manage the cast and AV Team. - Evaluates and ensures the 90-day evaluations are completed and placed into E1 for all new members of the cast, and AV team- Evaluates and ensures the end of contract evaluations are completed and placed into E1 for all members of the cast, and AV team - Ensures all progressive disciplinary measures are followed if need be. - Provides daily management for the cast and AV Team. - Schedules - Kronos corrections and monitoring - Signatures for medical forms - Any shipboard requirements of a manager.

The S&PM is responsible for the integrity of all performances.

- In the event of bad weather or technical issues the S&PM is to work with the Cruise Director to either reschedule or postpone the performance.

- While rehearsing and during performance, the S&PM is responsible for overall production value of the final product. This may include overseeing other managers working on the production. (ie, Broadcast Manager, Digital Signage and ITV Content Specialist, Bandmaster, Activity Manager)

- Production shows: - Maintain the integrity of the show as prescribed Celebrity Shoreside Entertainment - Ensures that changes are not made to any production show or bumper unless there is specific written permission from the Lead, Entertainment Productions. - Executes the shows by calling cues correctly. - May be required to run the stage machinery. - Ensures all rehearsals are completed with full production value. (Lights, sound, rigging. Costumes may be used if need be) - Ensure all elements of production shows are maintained and working well. - Ensures all backups for Lighting, Sound, Rigging and Video are properly stored. - Ensures all run sheets and AV tracks are up to date. - Ensures the shows’ prompt books are correct and fully complete. - Ensures that the spot operators have had enough rehearsal and are ready for the performance.

- Theme Events (ITPs or Theme nights): - Maintain the integrity of the show as prescribed by the producer. - Ensures that changes are not made to any Theme Events unless there is specific written permission from the Lead, Entertainment Productions. - Executes the shows by calling cues correctly. - May be required to run the stage machinery. - Ensures all rehearsals are completed with full production value. (Lights and sound Costumes may be used if need be) - Ensure all elements of Theme Events are maintained and working well. - Ensures all backups for Lighting, Sound and Video are properly stored. - Ensures all run sheets and AV tracks are up to date. - Ensures the shows’ prompt books are correct and fully complete.

- Guest Entertainers and Variety shows : - Ensures no production show element or Theme Event element is used for Guest Entertainers or variety shows. Performer Flying is expressly prohibited for guest entertainer, variety shows and events. - Creates correct and pleasing stage picture with proper elements. - Creates appropriate show flow. - Ensures the show is properly supported.

The S&PM is expected to support all entertainment events and productions. - The PM is required to be at all rehearsals and shows or produced events - The PM is required to attend all departmental meetings and events as prescribed by the Cruise

Director.

Proper handover notes and materials (Production show books, Dance Class Guides, Theme Event Books) are excepted to be created and in order for the time of the S&PM’s handover period.
