Cicadas

The Brood X Cicadas are coming. Every 17 years the cicadas emerge from the ground. There can be as many as 1.5 million cicadas per acre.

Don’t let that frighten you though, as the cicadas cannot sting or bite!

Most of us are familiar with Minecraft, but not everyone knows all the tips and tricks. Here are the top 3 secrets that you can do in Minecraft.

1. You can summon the Ender Dragon again by putting Ender crystals on the bedrock on each side and beams will shoot out the sky and the Ender Dragon will come back.

2. The second tip is something that only works in Java edition. Use your axe to kill animals and jump at the same time so you insta-kill the animal to get food quicker.

3. There is something that is called MLG (major league gamer) water bucketing. This is how it works:if you are falling from a very high height and you have a water bucket then you spam right click or on counsel you hold L2 on PS4, LT on an Xbox, and ZL on the Nintendo Switch.

The AV Club wants to give a shout out to our amazing 8th graders! These past couple of years have been tough, but we made it! As an 8th grader myself, I just want to say good luck in high school, and thank you to all the teachers that have helped us along the way! We will all miss CMS, but we will make new memories to last a lifetime. SOAR like eagles!!! -Kennedy Davey

Congratulations 8th graders! You made it through all three years of middle school, and what a strange three years they have been…On behalf of the Crofton Middle Staff, we would like to tell you what an amazing job you have done. You have impressed us all with the resilience you have shown. We will miss having you in our classes (whether in the building or in your living room) and we wish you nothing but the best as you move on to high school.Remember what they say, “If you can make it through middle school, you can make it through anything.” -Mr. FritschOkay, maybe they don’t actually say that, but they really ought to.
