eResult @ ASKnLearn LMS UPTLC
Teachers’ Guide
______________________________________________________________________________
1. Create an eResult folder. Then create sub-folder (s) with your class name.
2. Login to ASKnLearn LMS
3. Go to ‘Tools’ > ‘eResult’
4. From Stage 2 Enter Results, click on ‘Upload Results’
5. From the ‘Results Entry By Assessment’ menu, click on ‘Generate Report Template’
5.1 Select the Result Slip, Assessment (Grade) and Class.
5.2 Click on "Generate" button to download the excel template to your computer.

E.g.
5.3 Open the downloaded MS Excel Template and key in the students’ grade.
Once done, click ‘File’ ‘Save As’ and go to the class folder in the eResult folder.
Change the filename to this format: <Class Name>_<CA/SA 1/2>_Grade
E.g. 1NA_CA1_Grade
5.4 Click ‘Save’
6. Repeat STEP 5 (5.1 – 5.2) to download a template for different assessment (Marks)

6.1 Open the downloaded MS Excel Template and key in the students’ marks.
Once done, click ‘File’ ‘Save As’ and go to the class folder in the eResult folder.
Change the filename to this format: <Class Name>_<CA/SA 1/2>_Marks
E.g. 1NA_CA1_Marks
6.2 Click ‘Save’
Note: You are to key in the marks and grades separately – this means that you will save the file
twice with 2 different file names
7. From the ‘Results Entry’ menu, click on ‘Generate Report Template’
Select the ‘Result Slip’, ‘Field Type’ (For Extra Information – to key in teachers’ comments),
‘Class List Type’ and ‘Class’.
Click on "Generate" button to download the excel template to your computer.

8. Open the MS Excel template and key in the details in the columns.
***Leave the Signature columns blank
Once done, click ‘File’ ‘Save As’ and go to the class folder in the eResult folder.
Change the filename to this format: <Class Name>_<CA/SA 1/2>_ExtraInfo
E.g. 1NA_CA1_ExtraInfo
8.1 Click ‘Save’

7. From the Results Entry By Assessment menu, click on IMPORT RESULTS – to upload student
grades and marks.
Select the Results Slips and the Assessment (Marks/Grade).
Select the xml template you have saved from the previous step and click on UPLOAD.
8. After the file has been uploaded, the following note will be shown. Click on the NEXT button to
continue.

9. The system will show you a preview of the scores to be uploaded. Click on NEXT button to
continue.
10. Click on FINISH button to continue.

11. Repeat steps 7 – 10 to upload Marks/Grade
12. From the Results Entry menu, click on IMPORT EXTRA INFORMATION
Select the xml template you have saved from the previous step and click on UPLOAD.
13. After the file has been uploaded, the following note will be shown. Click on the NEXT button to
continue.

14. The system will show you a preview of the scores to be uploaded. Click on NEXT button to
continue.
15. Click on FINISH button to continue.

16. To view the uploaded students’ results, Go to ‘Tools’ > ‘eResult’
And click on the VIEW RESULTS option.
17. From the Results Entry menu, select VIEW RESULTS.
Select the respective Results Slip, Field Type (For Subject OR For Extra Information for
teachers’ comments), and Class.
Click on VIEW RESULTS button to view, or UPDATE RESULTS button to edit the information.

Viewing Uploaded Student Results
18. From the SEARCH menu, click on SEARCH STUDENT RESULT to view individual student’s
report book.
Saving Result Slips in PDF
19. To print the result slip, click the “Print” button
19.1 It opens to another page. Click the “Print” button in that page.

19.2 For “Destination”, click “Change’, then click “Save As PDF’
19.3 Under “Layout”, choose “Portrait”
19.4 Under “Options”, ensure ALL boxes are unchecked
19.5 Click ‘Save’
19.6 Go to the class folder in eResult folder, create a folder for storing individual result slip
(E.g. Folder name can be ‘Result Slips’)
19.7 Click ‘Save’ to save a student’s result slip in PDF
Printing Result Slip
20. Go to the Result Slip folder in eResult folder and open the PDF.
21. Go to File and click Print.
21.1 Click “Page Setup” to change paper size to A5 and click ‘Ok’
22.2 Go to Print and click ‘Current Page’ and Click Print
- You have now successfully printed the eResult for one student for your class
