In the article "Optical Performance of M ultifocal Intraocular Lenses" in the July issue, the spatial frequencies on the X axis of the modulation transfer function curves in Figure 2 (page 417) were mislabeled. The values shown for the spatial frequenCies should be multiplied by 0.49 to convert to the equivalent values in the human eye. Also, the denominator of the Snellen equivalents should be divided by 0.49. For example, 60 cycles/deg should be 29.4 cycles/deg and the Snellen equivalent, 20/20.
