Employment Screening Services earned the National Association of Professional Background Screeners (NAPBS) Accreditation in 2010. "Accreditation is just another way that we can instill confidence in our existing and potential clients about ESS' commitment to providing the best quality of service available," Sheila Benson, CEO of ESS. In order to achieve accreditation, a rigorous onsite audit is conducted by an independent auditing firm, and consumer reporting agencies must comply with NAPBS standards in the following critical areas:

• consumer protection • legal compliance • client education • product and service standards • quality assurance • privacy and security

"Accreditation is the industry's primary vehicle for quality assurance, self-regulation and public accountability," said Tracy Seabrook, CAE, executive director of NAPBS. The NAPBS Accreditation is expected to be the new industry "seal" looked for by companies when selecting a background screening provider and has been awarded to only a very small percentage of companies. This accreditation proves a background screening organization's commitment to excellence, accountability, high professional standards, and confirms their industry expertise.

In addition, this report generates a list of addresses your applicant has lived at for the last seven (7) years and any alias names associated with them. ESS uses these addresses as the benchmark for beginning a criminal records search. These records will indicate if a subject has a felony or misdemeanor pending or conviction record within the last seven (7) years, or more if applicable.
