Villa Wimba 1: Sea Front 3 bedroomsVilla Wimba (“Song” in Swahili) is one of our most striking 3 bedroom residences with an exquisite roof deck perched on the cliff overlooking the Indian Ocean. 2 double en-suite bedrooms with king size beds and 1 en-suite twin bedroom. Close to the hotel’s main pool, perfect for families.

Villa Bahari 2: Sea Front 4 bedroomsVilla Bahari (“Sea” in Swahili) is a very private residence located on the sea front with luxurious master-suite with king size bed on the ground fl oor, a twin bedroom with en-suite bath and shower while upstairs a second master-suite opens onto a roof deck. An additional double suite with king size bed completes this beautiful villa.

Villa Mchanga 3: Ocean View 4 bedroomsVilla Mchanga (“Sand” in Swahili) is a large 4 bedroom villa perfectly positioned in lush tropical gardens. A double suite with king size bed as well as a twin bedroom are located on the ground fl oor, both with private bathrooms, upstairs a large master-suite opens onto a charming roof deck with loungers and seating area. An additional double bedroom with king size bed is located upstairs.

Villa Wingu 4: Ocean View 3 bedroomsVilla Wingu (“Cloud” in Swahili” is a lovely double storey Villa with ocean views. A beautiful double bedroom with king size bed opens onto a upstairs terrace with sea views. A second double bedroom with king size bed also opens onto a private terraced area with seating. A single bedroom downstairs is perfect for a child.

Villa Mti 5: Ocean View 3 bedroomsVilla Mti (“Tree” in Swahili) is a private double storey 3 bedroom villa with two lovely double bedrooms upstairs with king size beds and a twin bedroom downstairs. With ocean views and lush gardens, it is certainly one of our favourites for peace and quiet.

Villa Mvua 6: Garden View 3 bedroomsVilla Mvua (“Rain” in Swahili) is an unusually shaped double-storey villa centred around a uniquely styled open courtyard. Two double bedrooms with king size beds are located upstairs with private terraces. Downstairs twin bedroom with en-suite shower is perfect for families with children.

Villa Moto 7: Garden View 3 bedroomsVilla Moto (“Fire” in Swahili) is a lovely double-storey villa with 3 bedrooms. Two bedrooms are located upstairs, 1 double with king size beds and 1 twin. A single bedroom is located downstairs. Tucked in the tropical gardens, Villa Moto is a peaceful retreat.

Villa Ndege 8: Garden View 3 bedroomsVilla Ndege (“bird” in Swahili) off ers 2 double bedrooms with king size beds upstairs and 1 twin bedroom downstairs. Located toward the rear of the property, Villa Ndege is quiet and set in lush tropical gardens. With its private pool, Villa Ndege is a luxurious island getaway.

Villa Mlima 9: Garden View 4 bedroomsVilla Mlima (“Mountain” in Swahili) is a large 4 bedroom residence in a quiet loca-tion in tropical gardens toward the rear of the property. There are two large, double bedrooms with king size beds upstairs, a further double bedroom with king size beds downstairs and one twin bedded room.

There is so much more to Zanzibar than gorgeous beaches and lazy sunny days although we are the fi rst to admit that beach and pool time is high on everyones “To Do” list.

Diving & FishingScuba Diving and Snorkelling can be organized with our local PADI GOLD Dive Centre. Deep sea fi shing is available as well.

StonetownThis is a must and make sure you allow a full day as the transfer time is approximately one hour each way. Stonetown is the old part of Zanzibar Town, the heart of which is a myriad of alleyways containing homes, shops, mosques and bazaars. The architecture is a phenomenal mix of Zanzibar, Arab, Persian and European. Don’t forget to bargain!

Spice TourDon’t miss this either. Don’t expect large touristy plantations. A walk into the tropical forest takes you on a taste and smell extravaganza in these small local plantations that gave the island its reputation as the Spice Island. Seeing spices which are so familiar at home in their natural state is certainly a revelation.

Sandbank PicnicThis is another one of our favourites. Also a full day excursion, visiting Prison Island and its giant tortoises before heading off to an Indian Ocean sandbank for a picnic and snorkelling. If you are lucky, you may even spot some dolphins.
