A CHANGE OF CLOTHES

He places a ring on the finger

(6 minutes) If someone says, ‘I love God,’ but hates a Christian brother or sister, that person is a liar; for if we don’t love people we can see, how can we love God, whom we have not seen? (1 John 4:20) Here’s a sobering thought:

God measures our love for Him by the love we show our brothers and sisters in every day fellowship with them. It is a serious thing to realize that our love for God just isn’t genuine if it fails the test of daily life with our fellow human beings. The same thing is true with humility. It is easy to think we humble ourselves before God. But humility before people is the only real proof that our humility before God is more than just a figment of our imagination. It is the only true evidence that humility has made a home in our hearts and become our

nature. How can we know that we, like Christ, have made ourselves of no reputation? By the reality check of daily life. When in God’s presence humility has become more than just a feeling we have when we think about Him or pray, but instead the very Spirit of our lives, it will show itself in the way we treat our brothers and sisters. This lesson is crucial. The only humility that really belongs to us is not what we try to show before God in prayer, but what we carry with us and live out when we get up off our knees. The insignificance of daily life is the test of eternity. It proves what Spirit really possesses us. It is in our unguarded moments when we show who we

really are. To know the humble man, you have to follow him around and watch his daily life.

Isn’t that lesson exactly what Jesus taught? His great teachings about humility came when He saw the disciples arguing about who was greatest or the Pharisees competing for the place of honor at banquets and in synagogues. He taught again after He had given them an example by washing their feet. Humility before God is nothing if it isn’t proved by humility before men. Paul of course taught the same practical lesson. To the Romans, he wrote: “Love each other with genuine affection and take delight in honoring each other...Live in harmony with each other. Don’t try to act important, but enjoy the company of ordinary people. And don’t think you know it all!”(Romans 12:10,16). To the Corinthians, he said: “Love is not jealous or boastful or proud or rude. Love does not demand its own way” (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). There is no love except what grows from the root of humility! To the Galatians, Paul wrote: “For you have been called to freedom...freedom to serve one another in love...Let us not become conceited, or irritate one another, or be jealous of one another” (Galatians 5:13,26). To the Ephesians, right after those three wonderful chapters about living in Heavenly Realms, he said, “Be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other” (Ephesians 4:2). “And further, you will submit to one another out of reverence for Christ” (Ephesians 5:21). To the Philippians, Paul wrote: “Make me truly happy by agreeing wholeheartedly with each other, loving one another, and working together with one heart and purpose. Don’t be selfish; don’t live to make a good impression on others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourself...Your attitude should be the same as that Christ Jesus had...He made Himself nothing; He took the humble position of a slave and appeared in human form. And in human form He obediently humbled Himself even further by dying a criminal’s death on the cross” (Philippians 2:3, 5, 7-8).

C. Alan Martin had a vision back in 1971 prophetically depicting 12 presidents of the United States. The “LAST” President was

unknown to him even after updating the information in the late 90’s. We know today that the “LAST” President would have been

Barack Obama. This is what the prophecy says about this 12th House or President.

House 12 President: ? This is the last house that I saw in this vision of the night. After this house was a dirt path that lead toward a collection of boulders arraigned in a semi circle which reminded me of a place where a trial was held and judgment rendered. In another dream which took place during the millennial age, I was standing among these rock looking at the ruins of a world rocked by the (great) tribulation. In the ruins of these boulders I found a witch doll. I knew immediately that one (sic) of the reasons that the USA was judged was because she had gone after the occult and witchcraft.

Across from the path after house #12 was a new row of houses stretching off into the distance. These I believe are the rulers of the land that Jesus will set up during the millennium.

In the vision of the night (after I saw the star fall to the earth)

[Note: Could this be the Puerto Rico Comet event?] I heard a voice say “Look to the east”. I began to turn and fully expected to see Jesus coming in the clouds. As I turned I saw the clouds part and I saw the blood moon and the dark sun.

[Note: This is the Sixth Seal Rev 6:12-17] Both of these are symbolic of judgment being levied on a nation and the fall of a nation. I continued turning to the east and saw the ancient army approaching from the east through the yards of all the houses of the presidents.

[Note: This is Russia and China moving / conquering from the East to West and USA, Gog/Magog Ezekiel 38, 39] It was then that I ran down to join this army in the yard of the house of Nixon. This was 1971, the year I was saved. Immediately the scene changed and I was in the middle of a city in gray ruins. I saw a man emerge from what I perceived to be a “temple fortress” who was dressed in a diplomatic suit and carrying a briefcase. A voice said “He claims to be God, but is of devil”.

KINGDOM PRINCIPLES FROM THE BOOK OF

ESTHER

Esther’s Hebrew name was “Hadassah”, meaning “myrtle”. She was planted in the earthly realm,

but was lifted from obscurity and placed in a position of kingdom authority. We know her as

“Esther”, which means “STAR”. Worldly “stars” project themselves, seek their own following,

and are worshipped by the people. God’s “stars”, like Esther, cause all to gaze toward the

heavens. Her spiritual beauty, grace and character shone against the darkness that threatened her

people.

Esther’s Journey To The Throne:

1. The old order “Vashti” has refused to come, according to the King’s commandment. Like

Israel who rejected their King when He called, God has said that another will be chosen; Esther

1:12-19; Acts 13:46-49; Romans 11:15-20.

2. A call has gone out to “gather the virgins”, from which a Bride will be selected. Esther

responded to the call. Many are called but few are “chosen”; Matthew 22:14.

3. In ancient times in a Persian palace, there were three sets of apartments for the women.

Prophetically speaking, they point to different groups, roles and degrees of love for the King

within the Kingdom:

a. One for the VIRGINS; Esther 2:8

b. One for the CONCUBINES; Esther 2:14

c. One for the QUEEN and the other wives; Esther 1:9. This was the “Royal House” which was

separated from the rest of the palace by a court.

4. The selection of Esther parallels the selection of the Bride of Christ:

a. She is accepted and purified; Ephesians 5:25-27; 1 John 3:3; Matthew 24:40-41.

b. Her marriage is consummated; Matthew 25:1-13; Revelation 19:7-9.

5. Esther submitted to, and acquired the necessary training, preparation and instruction received

through Mordecai, Hegai and the eunuchs, the Seven Wise Men (princes), the Seven Maidens,

those who were given to her from the King’s palace; see Isaiah 11:2.

a. These point to the ministry of the Holy Spirit, and the Galatians 4:2; Ephesians 4:11

ministries. All of these instruct, counsel and advise Esther; Proverbs 8:32-35.

b. They are the King’s officials, “friends of the Bridegroom”, who prepare Esther for the

presence of the King; Esther 1:10; John 3:29.

c. Question: Are you submitted to the government of the Holy Spirit, or are you directed by the

kingdom of “Self”?

6. Esther demonstrated a proper response to authority to all those within the Kingdom.

7. Esther “hid herself”. She did not make her “own identity” known; she did not promote herself

or speak of herself; Esther 2:10.

8. Esther had to be purified before she was accepted. The King’s throne is in “Shushan”, which

means “lily”, symbolic of holiness and purity; Esther 1:5; 2:3; Hebrews 12;14.

9. Esther submitted to full preparation. She completed her “days of purification”, (1 John 3:3),

which consisted of:

a. 6 months application of the “oil of myrrh”, symbolic of sufferings, trials; Mark 15:23

b. 6 months application of “sweet odors”, of Christ;. The fruit of the Holy Spirit is ripening in

the Bride; Galatians 5:22; 2 Corinthians. 2:14-16; Philippians 4:18.

c. Other things necessary for her cleansing and perfection; Song of Sol.3:6; Malachi 3:2

d. The Bride’s preparation must be complete. She is separated from wrong influences, sinful

indulgences, and unholy substances, as not to grieve the Holy Spirit; Ephesians 4:30; 2

Corinthians 6:15-17.

10. Esther was given a specific “diet”, foods provided for her by the king’s house; Psalm 23:5;

Rev. 2:7,17. Her diet is compatible with her “high calling”.

a. The Bride does not feed upon the “husks” as the prodigal does; Luke 15:15-16.

b. The Bride puts away the “meat sacrificed to idols”; Revelation 2:14, 20.

c. The Bride is careful about that which is added to “her pot”, and what she is preparing to set

before her companions to feed upon; 2 Kings 4:40-44.

11. Esther understood protocol, the pattern for entering the Most Holy Place (The Throne Room)

as seen in Esther 5:1-3:

a. She put on her royal apparel, the “wardrobe” of the believer; Eph. 6:10-18; Is. 61:10.

b. She was in the Inner Court, the Holy Place of the King’s house. This is the “Candlestick

Realm”, Revelation 1:12-13, where the “banquet of wine” is enjoyed, the realm of being “filled

with the spirit”; Song of Solomon 2:4; Ephesians 5:18.

c. When Esther went into the King, she “required nothing” from His house; she only brought

herself. That which Hegai (Holy Spirit training) had given was enough; 2:13-15.

12. Esther “won” the King’s favor. When the King sees her, she obtains favor in His sight;

Esther 2:9,15; 5:2; Psalm 41:11.

a. She was taken to The King, who delights in her; Esther 2:14-16; Song of Sol. 7:10.

b. She obtains grace and favor in his sight more than the other virgins.

c. The king sets the royal crown upon her head (a picture of being sealed in the forehead with

the mind of Christ); Rev. 1:6; 3:21.

13. The King makes a “great feast” and Esther celebrates with him; Esther 2:18; Luke 14:16-24;

John 7:2-10.

14. Esther was invited to approach the King in His throne room (the Most Holy Place):

a. The King holds out the Golden Sceptre, which is in His hand (symbolic of His divinity, and

the full authority of Jesus’ name as we stand in His presence); Esther 5:2; Matthew 28:18;

Hebrews 1:8.

b. This is also symbolic of the “rod” of God, that which shall rule the nations; Jeremiah 1:4-12;

Numb. 17:1-13; Psalm 23:4; Revelation 2:26-28.

c. Esther, like the Bride of Christ, draws near and touches the TOP of the Sceptre; Esther 5:2.

d. When we touch the TOP of the Sceptre, we take hold of Him, and grow up into His

“headship”; Deut. 34:1; Eph. 4:15; Psalm 72:16; Song of Sol. 4:8; Isaiah 2:2.

Hegai (A Eunuch) Had Custody Of Esther And The Other Women In The King’s Harem:

A “eunuch” is a castrated male, incapable of physical reproduction. Jesus taught on the spiritual

meaning of “eunuchs” in Matthew 19:12:

1. There are some eunuchs who are BORN this way from their mother’s womb.

2. There are some eunuchs who were MADE EUNUCHS of (by) men. These have been castrated

by religious systems, men’s traditions and doctrines of men, and CANNOT (are not able) to

produce the Kingdom; Mark 7:8-9,13; Colossians 2:8.

3. There are EUNUCHS WHO HAVE MADE THEMSELVES eunuchs for the Kingdom of

Heaven’s sake. These have “cut off” the works of their flesh, and cannot produce anything but

the Kingdom (they refuse to create anything else); Romans 8:8; Gal. 5:16.

The Book Of Esther Reveals Many Kingdom Principles:

1. The hand of Divine Providence guards God’s people, and overrules above the affairs of men,

preserving His elect.

2. Those who attempt to destroy God’s people shall themselves be destroyed.

3. There is a royal wine; (“outpouring” of Holy Spirit); Acts 2:13; Luke 5:38; Esther 1:7

4. There is a royal house; (the Most Holy Place); Esther 1:9; Numbers 7:89.

5. There is a royal throne, a “seat” of authority; Esther 5:1; Eph. 1:20-21; Rev. 3:21.

6. There is royal apparel; Esther 5:1; 6:8; Psalm 45:13-14; Isaiah 61:10.

7. There is a royal crown; (sealed in the forehead with the mind of Christ); Ex. 39:28-31; Ezek.

9:4; Rev. 14:1; Est. 1:11; 2:17. It is also symbolic of a reward; 1 Cor. 9:17-18.

8. There is a royal commandment, the “law” of love; John 13:34; Esther 1:19.

9. There is a royal estate, an inheritance; Revelation 21:7; Esther 1:19.

10. The Bride is strategically placed in the Kingdom at a very critical time; Esther 4:14.

11. Esther knew that plans had been made to destroy her and her people, so she made a plea

before the king to “put away the mischief of Haman” (a type of Satan), through a “writing which

was written in the king’s name, and sealed with the king’s ring”; see Esther 3:5-11; 5:14; 7:4;

8:3-8.

12. Esther understood the authority of the King’s laws and commandments; 1 Peter 1:25.

13. Submission to God-ordained authority is the vehicle to a higher realm.

14. Esther’s Feast is a picture of the Marriage Feast; Esther 2:18; Matt. 22 and Rev 19.

15. Mordecai refused to bow to Haman, who wanted worship from the people. Any ministry that

refuses to bow to the whims of man will “enrage” the system; Esther 3:5-6.

16. Esther and Mordecai were both from the tribe of “Benjamin” (son of the right hand). They

were the instruments used by God to expose the enemy’s plans; Esther 7:4-6.

17. Mordecai and Esther are a type of a “firstfruits” company, and the Royal Priesthood.

Together, their ministry points to the “high calling” in Philippians 3:1-14.

18. Esther and Mordecai understood the principles of teamwork, unity and intercession; Matthew

18:19. As intercessors, they stand between the living and the dead, as reconcilers and

peacemakers.

19. Mordecai gave his life to help prepare Esther, the Bride. He “raised her” as his own daughter.

The one who prepares the Bride is “great in the King’s house”; Esther 9:3-4.

20. Esther was courageous, and was willing to lose her own life for the sake of her people. She

preserved God’s people from destruction; Esther 4:16; Luke 17:33.

21. God may not intervene in His people’s behalf until the “gallows” are built.

22. Our future destiny hinges on our present obedience. The Scriptures tell us that only those

who overcome will rule and reign with Christ; Revelation 2 & 3; 21:7-7.

23. God has set in place a “Season of Reversal”. On the very date that Haman had planned for

the destruction of God’s people, he lost his own life; Esther 7:10. The Feast of Purim is a

reminder that “the lot cast” as a day of death for God’s people, became a lasting day of

deliverance.

24. Practical Application: Go into the Throne Room and SPEAK UP! Other people’s lives are at

stake; they depend upon your obedience “for such a time as this”; Esther 4:14.

25. Question: Have you pressed in to touch the TOP of the Sceptre in the Throne Room, or are

you still hanging around the outer courts? Esther 2:8, 14.

FROM THE BOOK OF ESTHER - HAMAN’S

GALLOWS ARE EXPOSED!

HAMAN - is a type of satan, antichrist or the flesh. He was an Amalekite, a member of a war-

like nation that was hostile toward Israel. He despised God’s people. His name means

“magnificent”. He was great in his own eyes, full of pride, manipulation and deceit. He was like

Judas, the betrayer, who accepted money to carry out his plan; Esther 3:2-11; Matthew 26:15.

1. His influence has come into the “banquet of wine” (he has entered the Pentecostal Realm);

Psalm 41:9; Matt. 26:15; John 13:1-30.

2. The devil has access to the “nobles” as well as the common people; Esther 3:1-2.

3. As Prime Minister, Haman persuaded the king to approve an edict he had written, which

would lead to the extermination of the Jewish people. The devil hates “Mordecai”, the

overcoming “son” and Esther, the “Bride”; Esther 3:5-11.

4. Haman has set “devices” in place to destroy the one who sits in the “king’s gate”.

5. Mordecai, Esther’s custodian, refuses to bow to Haman. He hears of Haman’s plan, cries out

to the Lord in intercession, Ezek. 9:4, and word is sent to Esther; Est. 4:1-4.

6. GALLOWS were erected by him to destroy “Mordecai”, a type of the overcomer, or the Holy

Spirit’s ministry; Ephesians 4:11. Those like Mordecai will not bow to the flesh, neither will they

submit to the demands of the carnal mind or religious system; Est. 3:2-5.

a. The Hebrew word “gallows” means tree; plural: wooden planks, stake (to which a criminal

was fastened); it is a structure with a crossbeam and a rope; Esther 5:14.

b. The devil (operating through the strength of the flesh) wants to destroy the ministry that

trains and prepares the Bride for the throne. It pleases the “flesh” to kill the “spirit”; Galatians

5:17; 1 Peter 5:8.

c. The gallows were erected “50 cubits high”. The number 50 is symbolic of Pentecost, Jubilee,

the Anointing (50 days after Passover - Acts 2:1-47); Leviticus 25:10-12. It wants to “cut off”

the anointing, the power and the liberty of the Pentecostal experience.

d. Esther exposed Haman and they covered his face; Esther 7:8. There is a “covered face” of

the flesh and an “unveiled face” of the spirit; 2 Corinthians 3:14-18. The King (Jesus) has dealt

with Satan and the carnal mind.

THE GALLOWS ARE DEVICES OF SATAN. The plans, traps, snares and influences of the

enemy are constructed, but they are being exposed, as revealed in God’s Word:

1. The Lord is exposing Haman’s murderous plans against “Mordecai” and God’s people. This

“adversary” was executed, but his “sons” are still present in the land. (Jesus defeated satan at the

cross, but satan’s seed retains influence in the Earth). Esther 3:5-11; 5:14.

2. The Lord is revealing that which pertains to “Balaam”:

a. the “error” of Balaam – prophets who prophesy for wages, gain, covetousness; Numbers 22:9-

12, 21-23; Jude 11

b. the “doctrine” of Balaam – he cast “stumbling blocks”; Revelation 2:14

c. the “way” of Balaam – he went astray, loving unrighteousness; 2 Peter 2:15

3. The Lord is exposing the widespread influence of Jezebel, which utilizes manipulation,

domination and intimidation to control another’s life; 1 Kings 16:31-32; 19:1-2.

a. Jezebel was married to king Ahab. Jezebel is a type of religious Babylon. Ahab is a type of

political Babylon. She was the power and influence behind the throne of Ahab.

b. It utilizes witchcraft; it tricks, pressures or forces others to conform to its agenda.

c. This spiritual influence inflicts physical, verbal or mental abuse.

d. This spiritual influence can be felt in the home, the organized Church, in governments and is

also associated with Mystery Babylon.

4. The Lord is exposing the rebellious spirit of Korah, who desires a position that he is not

appointed to fulfill; Numbers 16:1-3, 8-12

a. This influence abuses spiritual authority, and gathers others to stand against God-ordained

ministry.

b. This spirit openly challenges God’s leadership; it backstabs and plots against others.

c. It propagates the spirit of rebellion in order to destroy the unity of the saints and undermine

God’s established authority.

5. The Lord is uncovering the immorality of the Nicolaitanes within God’s house, who teach and

practice spiritual adultery and idolatry; Revelation 2:6,15

6. The Lord is revealing the apostasy and disobedience of “Saul’s House”.

a. Saul wants the anointing but he wants it on his own terms.

b. He is jealous of David because the Lord’s hand is upon him.

c. David (the Lord’s anointed) has to flee, because Saul wants him dead.

d. Samuel (prophetic ministry) has abandoned the apostate house of Saul, because the Spirit of

the Lord has departed; 1 Samuel 15:34; 19:10; 20:24-27; 28:7-8.

7. The Lord is exposing the abominations of the “Harlot”, whose great influence is over vast

numbers of people; it is upon “many waters”; Revelation 17:1-18

8. The Lord is revealing king Jeroboam’s “calf worship” of the present day; 1 Kings 12:26-33.

a. Jeroboam didn’t want to lose the allegiance of the people to king Rehoboam, so he instituted

his own order. He built shrines and appointed priests who were not Levites.

b. He wanted to make it easier for the people to worship God, so he devised the first seeker-

friendly church of ease and convenience.

9. The Lord is uncovering the wicked “counsel” of “Ahithophel” (brother of fo lly) within the

nation. He influenced and joined “Absalom” (son of David), who amassed an army and

conspired against David, who was God’s chosen king; 2 Samuel 15:1-6, 12, 31.

a. Ahithophel speaks of those in governmental offices, who are “counselors”, who have access to

the leaders of a nation. He eventually “self-destructs”; 2 Samuel 17:23

b. Absalom reveals the spirit of disloyalty, which gains entrance through bitterness and

unforgiveness.

c. Unresolved offense is a catalyst which causes a person to work against the godly ministry that

he is supposed to be serving. Absalom betrayed his own father.

10. The Lord is exposing the plans of “Sanballat” and “Tobiah”; Nehemiah 4:1-3, 7-11. a. These

two individuals reveal “sabotage”, the plots of the adversaries in our midst.

b. These influences work from “within”; they mock and ridicule God’s people.

c. They gather other enemies together, seeking to hinder God’s work.

11. The Lord is revealing the enemy’s strategy in advance, while it is yet in the planning stages;

2 Kings 6:8-12.

a. The king of “Syria” (self-exalted ones) is devising strategy and plans against God’s people and

the nation.

b. The Lord is revealing the detailed plans of the wicked to “Elisha”, the prophetic ministry. He

is being told what the evil king is planning in his “bed-chamber”.

12. The Lord is cautioning us concerning the “deceit of the Gibeonites”. They utilize false

coverings to deceive, and they are very subtle; Joshua 9:1-15.

a. These are false brethren who attempt to beguile even seasoned leaders, such as Joshua.

b. They come “wrapped and robed” (disguised and convincing), quoting God’s Word.

c. Instead of an open, outward assault, they are as “angels of light” to deceive, pressuring God’s

people to enter into a covenant / alliance, without carefully seeking the Lord.

Haman was guilty, bound and hung; Esther 7:9-10. But his “seed” is still in the land.

HAMAN’S INFLUENCE (SONS) MUST ALSO BE CUT OFF; see Galatians 5:19-21; Esther

9:5-14. God’s people overcome these wicked influences by:

A. Realizing that God Himself is not at war; He has already won!

B. By PUTTING ON the Full Armor of God, which is our spiritual covering, worn to protect us

in spiritual warfare. This is described in Ephesians 6:11-18:

1. By Having Our Loins Girt About (like a belt) With Truth

2. By Having On The Breastplate Of Righteousness

3. By Having Our Feet Shod With The Preparation Of The Gospel Of Peace

4. By Taking (Utilizing) The Shield Of Faith

5. By Taking (Putting On) The Helmet Of Salvation

6. By Taking (Utilizing) The Sword Of The Spirit

The Victory Over Evil Influences Is Gained Through Prayer And Obedience To:

1. Seek The Lord – Psalm 27:8-9; Amos 5:4-8; Luke 11:9-10

2. Worship And Devotion – 1 Chronicles 16:29; Mark 14:3-9; John 4:23-24

3. Fasting / Repentance – Ezekiel 14:6; Matthew 4:17; ; Mark 2:20; Acts 3:19

4. Cleansing And Sanctification – 2 Corinthians 7:1; 1 Thess. 4:3-4; 1 John 1:9

5. Purity And Consecration – Matthew 5:8; 1 Timothy 5:22; 1 John 3:3

6. Humility – Proverbs 16:18-19; Luke 14:11; 1 Peter 5:5-6

7. Servanthood – Joshua 24:15; Matthew 6:24; Galatians 5:13

8. Unity – Psalm 133:1; Acts 2:46-47; Ephesians 4:3,13; John 17:17

9. Healing And Restoration – Jeremiah 30:17; Malachi 4:2; Luke 4:18-19

10. Accountability – Ephesians 5:21; Hebrews 10:25; 2 Timothy 3:16

11. Kingdom Purposes – Esther 4:14; Matthew 6:33; John 18:36

12. Watch FOR Him And WITH Him – Matt. 25:13; 26:38-41; Luke 21:36

ESTHER HAD A CROWN PLACED UPON HER HEAD; Esther 2:17.

1. A CROWN speaks of a royal position, or REWARD. Jesus cautions His people to “hold fast”

to that which you have; Revelation 2:25-29; 3:11.

2. Paul said: “Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and my crown, so

stand fast in the Lord; Philippians 4:1.

3. HOLD FAST and STAND FAST in the Lord! There are different crowns described in

scripture. Rewards shall be given equal to the degree of faithfulness; 1 Corinthians 3:8; Hebrews

6:10-15; 11:6; Colossians 3:24; Revelation 22:12.

a. The Lord Himself is our Reward; Genesis 15:1

b. The preaching of the Gospel is our reward; 1 Corinthians 9:17-18

c. The “fruit of our doings” brings a reward; Jeremiah 17:10

d. Our works are rewarded; Matthew 16:27; 2 Chronicles 15:7

e. There is a reward for righteousness; Psalm 18:20, 24; Psalm 58:11

There Are Different Kinds Of Rewards:

1. Every man’s work is tested, revealed by fire. Some shall receive a reward and some will suffer

loss of inheritance / rewards; 1 Corinthians 3:13-15.

2. Some will have an abundant entrance into the Kingdom; 2 Peter 1:10-11.

3. Different Rewards in scripture are mentioned:

a. There is a Full Reward; Ruth 2:12

b. There is a Great Reward; Psalm 19:11

c. There is a Sure Reward; Proverbs 11:18

d. There is a Good Reward; Ecclesiastes 4:9

e. There is an Open Reward; Matthew 6:6

f. There is a Prophet’s Reward; Matthew 10:41

God Honors And Rewards His Faithful People:

1. The King honors those who honor Him; the deeds of God’s people are recorded; Esther 6:1-

11; Malachi 3:16.

2. Mordecai was promoted and advanced to be “next to the king”. Even if there appears to be a

delay, promotion comes after times of testing, when we have proven to be faithful and obedient;

Esther 2:21-23; 8:2,15; 10:2-3.

3. The house of Haman was given to Esther. God promises that we will possess the gates of the

enemy and spoil his house because of what King Jesus has done for us; Esther 8:1.

4. In Esther 8:1-17 we have a picture of the King’s messengers hurrying throughout the land

carrying letters (the Word of God). There is gladness and joy, and the fear of the Lord comes

when the message of the Kingdom is preached; many are converted. There is a reward that

comes from teamwork and unity among God’s people; Esther 9:2-3.

5. The Jews smote all of their enemies by the sword. Utilizing the sword of the spirit (the Word

of God), always causes the enemy’s defeat; Esther 9:5; Revelation 12:11.

6. There was a miraculous deliverance of God’s people. The Feast of Purim was instituted to

commemorate this event; Esther 9:26-32.
