We are aiming at delivering an inspiring and professional conference set in beautiful Norwegian scenery. By bringing all countries of the European regions together by the Oslofjord, we are hoping to create an atmosphere for good decision-making. The venue is chosen for its excellent opportunities for a “compact conference”, ideal for informal meetings and networking where all facilities are near each other. This is of great importance to us, as we strongly believe that the conference is an arena for sharing ideas and experiences. Welcome to Norway!
When: Medio June 2016. Where: Oslofjord Convention Center in Vestfold, Norway. Price: Same or less as previous conferences. Accomodation in several price classes.
Contact: Phone: +47 22 99 22 30 // e-mail: [email protected] We encourage you to contact us if you have any questions or ideas that can help us facilitate the conference.

There are about 30 000 Guides and Scouts in Norway, equal numbers of girls and boys, organised in hundreds of local groups from the South to the far North. Outdoor life in all kinds of weather is an important part of the programme.
The fun and exciting activities vary with the seasons, as well as with the climate and the scenery. There are two Guide and Scout associations in Norway, The YWCA-YMCA Guides and Scouts of Norway and the Norwegian Guide and Scout Association. The two associations run several projects together.
Scouting in NorwayBoth associations have worked with growth and leadership as strategic areas for several years, and would like to involve the rest of Europe in the experiences and positive results we have obtained.
The two associations are members of both WAGGGS and WOSM.
Oslofjord Convention Center lies quietly hidden along the coast, but within reach of the world through three nearby airports, a ferry service to Europe, rail services and buses. Oslofjord is easily accessible, close to Gardermoen Airport in Oslo, Torp Airport in Sandefjord and Rygge Airport in Moss.
It is a 1 ½ hour drive from Oslo, two hours from Gardermoen Airport, and only twenty minutes from the Torp Airport. There are also frequent train connections between Oslo Gardermoen Airport and both Tønsberg and Stokke. Ferry services to both Denmark and Sweden are found within a 40 minute drive from the venue.
