HUNTSVIE SALUTES AND VETERANS oF THIS WEDNESDAY NIGHT - THANK OUR VETERANS 6:30-8:30PM - AT THE MAYFAIR ENTRANCE PORTICO The “Next Great Americans” Tour Bus will be coming to Mayfair this Wednesday Night for the purpose of gathering signatures. We invite you to take a few moments and come to the Entrance Portico to sign the “Huntsville Signs and Salutes” banner. With each signature we are telling our veterans that we sign in eternal gratitude for their service to our country. The banner will be presented to over 300 WWII Veterans during the WWII 70th Anniversary Celebration of Victory Day being held at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center on August 10. The bus will also feature a walk through exhibit showcasing the sacrifice of “The Greatest Generation” and the debt we owe those who stood for the freedom of our country.

Help us thank our WWII Veterans who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. The Next Great Americans Tour Bus will be coming to your office parking lot. We are traveling around Huntsville gathering signatures. We invite you to take a few moments and come down to the bus to sign the “Huntsville Signs and Salutes” banner. With each signature we are telling our veterans that we sign in eternal gratitude for your service. The banner will be presented to the WWII Veterans during the WWII 70th Anniversary Celebration of Victory Day being held at the U.S. Space and Rocket Center on August 10th, 2015.

MEN’S CONFERENCE WITH STEVE FARRAR AUGUST 6-7Cross Point Church of Christ in Florence is hosting His Man on His Mission, a special men’s conference with best-selling author Steve Farrar. The conference will take place at the Cross Point church building (1350 Cox Creek Parkway, Florence 35633) on Friday, August 7 from 6:30 - 9:30 pm and Saturday, August 8 from 8:30 - 11:30 am. LADIES WEDNESDAY NIGHT CLASSA study of “How Jesus Valued Women” by Linda Smith will resume Wednesday, August 5. This is a continuation of the class from the Spring. Ten wonderful ladies of all ages will be sharing lessons with us in this series. See posters displayed around the building.

MYAM ALL Wednesday Night Small Group meets in the Coffee House Room M-201.This study is open to the College Age and the Young Pro group. We will begin a new study starting August 5. Every week we will come together and open the word and discuss. This is a small group setting. If you enjoy this type of life challenging discussion, I hope that you will join us.

COLLEGE AGE - Sunday Gathering - following worship in Room M-201 we gather and share in the Word together.

College Summer Wrap Up Tonight - This Tuesday, August 4 at the Mann’s home (3196 Old Hwy 431, Owens Crossroads, AL) at 5:00 pm. We will have our summer wrap-up for the college students. Join us!!

YOUNG PROS - We meet in Room A-208 for our class. This is a group who is seeking to find a place to belong in a Christian community and be faithful in a work environment.

The Young Pro group is again beginning to grow. If you know someone who is a young professional in your work environment, invite them and let us get a chance to meet them. PARENTS WITH CHILDREN - Please find information regarding Bible Classes for babies-5th Grade at our Children’s Information Desks. There are several attended nurseries during worship for ages 0-24 months, along with diaper changing and nursing mothers’ areas. All guest children need to be registered at our Children’s Information Desk before going to Bible class.

TODAY - BIBLE CLASS PROMOTION SUNDAY - Our children move to their new classrooms during our 10:20 Bible classes! We look forward to an exciting quarter with a wonderful staff of teachers & helpers. Some things to note about today’s “Promotion Sunday”:• You should have received in the mail a postcard with your child’s new class. If not, stop at our Downstairs Children’s Information Desk to find which class your child is moving into.• There is no Celebration Station, to allow parents to escort their children from worship to their new classrooms.• We ask that all parents escort your child to/from class. (Baby/Toddler - 6th Grade)• Please note that nurseries today are provided for the new baby/toddlers for the 2015/16 school year. If your child is moving to a Preschool 2’s class you will need to have your child with you in worship today. • Those children moving into Kindergarten are reminded that your family will be invited to come to the front of the Worship Center for a prayer and then you will take your Kindergartener to C-120 at the beginning of Bible class for a special Farewell 4’s program.

SUNDAY, AUGUST 16 - ANNUAL MCM PARENTS’ MEETING! - All parents of children (baby - 5th Grade) are asked to be present in the Gym on Sunday, August 16 at 10:30 am for our annual Parents’ Meeting. This is the only time we gather everyone together to share with you some important & exciting information regarding our Children’s Ministry. We also get updates from you and share ways you can be involved in this ministry.

FINAL SUNDAY FOR OUR SUMMER INTERNS- A special thanks to our summer interns - Olivia Todd, Auturmn Williams, Cassie Houck, Adam Weigel, and Anna Farris for a wonderful summer and challenging us all to “Let Him Reign”! They will conclude their time with us TODAY! We pray for them the best as they prepare to head back to college or high school soon.

INNER CITY BACK TO SCHOOL DRIVEThank you for your participation in this year’s Back to School Drive. With your help, we are providing over 2,500 supplies for the children of the Inner City Church of Christ and the Learning Center!

TWO MORE CLASSES BEGIN WEDNESDAY NIGHT, AUGUST 5Beginning this Wednesday night, August 5, the Singing Class and a continuation of the spring ladies’ class will start back. The Singing Class will be in the Fellowship Hall and the ladies’ class will be in the Garden Room with different speakers each Wednesday night through October 7. The countdown of summer speakers will continue in the Worship Center.

TUESDAY LADIES BIBLE CLASSFind the secret to joy as we study the book of Philippians. Class begins Tuesday, September 8 from 10:00 - 11:00 am.

ATTENTION LADIESThe Fall 2015 session of Bible Study for Women (BSW) will begin on Thursday, September 17 in the Garden Room with Martha Kimbrough as our teacher. The topic for this session will be “Lessons Learned from the Upper Room.” After three years of public ministry, Jesus has one last night to spend with his disciples. He used this time in the ‘Upper Room’ to draw His disciples into an even closer relationship with their Lord and Savior. During this study, we too will strive to learn to live a life that is more closely connected to Him. Please plan to join us and bring a friend!

THE BRIDGEToday is Promotion Sunday. We welcome all of our new 5th Graders to The Bridge: Mayfair Preteen Ministry. As a way to welcome you, all 5th & 6th Graders will be meeting in The Bridge (C-220) during class. Music will be played, donuts will be eaten and we’ll spend some time getting to know each other! We’ll see you at The Bridge.
