Whatever you plan your corporate event about: helping the community, learning your Company’s home town, education or sports activities – just construct it as a set of “check points” connected into routes. With smartphones, you can properly distribute your resources to different activities, so each team starts and completes their next task at very predictable time. At each moment, the territory of your CSR event is fully covered with groups of volunteers, without queues and crowds. Security. You always know where your volunteers are, whether they need help or advice. Impressions. After all, participants will memorize such a unique experience. They will discuss it with families and friends. They will show pictures they made while playing. Those “words of mouth” will grow your Company image and reputation across the community.

Corporate Social Responsibility programs: adding value through interactivity

Responsibility for environment. Responsibility for community. Responsibility for people.

For any kind of your CSR event, enforce and encourage your volunteers with connected mobile devices – for instant monitoring, efficiency and fun!

What is this? Unique technology that unites all your volunteers into a big team, jointly working on a common mission.

Each team receives a handheld computer (smartphone), and your CSR event immediately turns into the exciting tournament. It is no longer set of scheduled activities – it is an adventurous mission to accomplish. A mission where each member of the team can contribute her or his skills and passion. It is a game where everybody wins.

Whatever you plan your corporate event about: helping the community, learning your Company’s home town, education or sports activities – just construct it as a set of “check points” connected into routes. So each team is supposed to walk or ride their special route, completing tasks, answering questions, taking pictures, recording sounds and so on. And you will be able to watch them online: you always know how your teams are progressing. You can analyze their behavior and recognize them as the smartest, the fastest, the most creative, the most productive… you name the nomination!

Why?

Inclusion. Even the most skeptical people get involved very quickly. In such a competitive environment,

everyone remains excited till the final point. There are no more boring tasks!

Efficiency.

Learning corporate values During the game, smartphones can challenge the teams with questions or “creativity contests”. Associate your corporate values with the game reality. Make them learn and test their knowledge in out-of-office format. Listen how they link their field activities with the corporate values. As a result, they learn a lot about the Company, but you also learn a lot about your employees or partners.

In some of our projects, we assign a “corporate message” to each team. Accomplishing their route, they comment on their view on that statement, their observations and associations. What helps them to win? How to apply that statement in their current situation? After the event, you can collect multiple responses and creative thoughts: they would “animate” your corporate messaging and help you understand how it is treated among your people.

It is always a teambuilding, too. During such a game, participant become effectively performing teams, learn each others’ strengths, practice their unique skills, demonstrate their ability to resolve conflicts and productively work together.

Fighting “Virus of indifference” Even for a simple CSR event, we recommend to add some bright colors and emotions through the funny scenario. Let them discover or build a “Totally Green Zone”, or fight “Virus of Indifference”, or “Make the City Smile” etc. - depending on what your event is dedicated to. PDAs will be branded and programmed in a way that corresponding sounds and messages will appear when a new “point of action” is detected. Diving into the mystical atmosphere of a quest will make more fun, let participants be more creative, more relaxed and – we see it every time we run such a project – more motivated!

Each piece of information, each item of inventory is highly valued when it took participants’ own efforts to get it. If they are supposed to paint the walls – let them find the brushes and paints as a part of the quest. If they need to plant trees, let them get the corresponding inventory at some hidden point they are supposed to find first. Using that approach, the event that initially seemed to be a very regular, not to say a boring one, becomes an unforgettable adventure for everyone!

People, Planet, Profit Implementing such an approach to your CSR program means benefits for all 3 “P”s of “Triple bottom line”. People benefit from learning, encouragement and excitement. Planet benefits from high quality and passion of their activities. Your business benefits from highly motivated people and strong reputation of creative, innovative and responsible Corporation.
