SPIRITUAL REALITIES

ALTAR OF BURNT OFFERING• Burnt offerings are a sweet aroma to the LORD

• Leviticus 1:9 etc (30+ times in Leviticus & Numbers)

• Idea did not start with the Law

• Genesis 8:21

• God does not enjoy the smell of burning flesh

• Isaiah 1:10-11

• Sacrifices from pure hearts smell sweet to God

• No sacrifice means anything without Christ’s

ALTAR OF BURNT OFFERING• The ultimate sweet-smelling aroma

THE VEIL• At the beginning, man was alienated from God by sin
