ACADEMIC PROGRAMMES:

There are labs in the department, with all necessaryequipments, Chemicals and glasswares in Pharmaceutics,Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacognosy and Pharmacology along with Machine room and Central Instrument lab with sophisticated equipments HPLC and UV-Visible Spectrophotometer, Brookfield Viscometer Lab.

LABORATORIES:

Sagar Institute of Pharmacy and Technology (SIPTec) is providing B. Pharmacy (4 years) and M. Pharmacy (2 Years) technical course that functions on the guidelines of R.G.P.V., AICTE and PCI.

The B. Pharmacy course comprises the study of subjects like Pharmacognosy (Study of the drugs derived from natural sources), Pharmaceutics (Study of the methods of formulation of various dosage forms like tablets, capsules, syrups etc.), Pharmacology (Study of the effects of drugs to the body) and Medicinal Chemistry (Study of the chemical structure and derivatives of drugs). Along with these core subjects some allied subjects like Microbiology, Biochemistry and Pharmaceutical Biotechnology etc. are also taught during this phase. The purpose of the design and conduct of B. Pharmacy is to grant the complete knowledge to its student about the entire process to develop a drug and its dosage and make it available to the patient. The completion of B. Pharmacy from a PCI u/s 12 approved institute also makes the scholar eligible to get registered under the respective state pharmacy council which issues a Pharmacist registration certicate to the scholar.

SIPTec offers PCI approved M. Pharmacy with specialization in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Chemistry. These subjects offer a very wide range of scope to its scholars in every sector of Pharmaceuticals like Research and Development (R & D), Production, QA/QC, Academics etc.

Sagar Group of Institutions offers two years fulltime MBA

programme, spread over four semesters. The most notable

feature is its visionary objective to provide the students with

an all-round perspective in all streams of Management

education. The programme is dedicated to training the

students to become decision makers along with exercising

social sensitivity, keeping in mind a broad strategic vision and

The Two Year Full Time Master of Business Administration (MBA) Program offered by School of Management

Studies at Sagar Institute of Science and Technology (SISTec) is afliated to Barkatullah University, Bhopal. The

program is spread across four semesters with the rst two Semesters catering to Core Courses only. The Core

Courses are aimed at developing the fundamentals of management and having an understanding of domain

awareness. Students undergo a Summer Internship in between second and third Semester to have a hands on

experience on general management or any specied areas of management. The third and fourth semester mainly

caters to specialization courses along with couple of Core courses in each of these semesters. A wide range of

specialization is available namely Marketing, Finance, Human Resources, Banking and Financial Services and Retail.
