We are happy to announce that the summer 2007 release of David Textiles’ new Thomas Kinkade line of fabric-by-the-yard was a great success! Debuting in scores of independent craft and home-goods stores it has already sold out its 1st printing and is heading into its 2nd. Showcasing also at Wal-Mart, Hancock Fabrics and Hobby Lobby stores, the beautifully printed yardage inspired by the idyllic painted scenes by Thomas Kinkade has quickly become popular with craft and quilt enthusiasts. Included in the line are cut-out patterns to create festive Christmas stockings, tree skirts and tablecloths that will dress up the house for the holidays. Quilt panels have been ingeniously designed by the David Textiles design team to in-clude patterns for the coordinating prints and solids taken from the same Thomas Kinkade painting that is used in the quilt fabric’s centerpiece design. This is a terrific beginning for one of our newest licensees and another success for the craft market.
