Raja Balwant Singh Engineering Technical Campus, Bichpuri, Agra is one of the renowned institutes in the field of technical education. This was started in the year 1996 and is run by the Balwant Educational Society established way back in 1885 and chaired by the District and Sessions Judge, Agra. The Faculty of Engineering and Technology is running the B.Tech and M.Tech courses that are approved by AICTE.The Faculty of Pharmacy conducts the B.Pharm Course and is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India.The Faculty of Architecture Et Town Planning conducts the B.Arch course and is approved by the Council Of Architecture. The Institute is affiliated to Dr.A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow (Formerly U.P.Technical University) The Institute is situated at Bichpuri in lush green surroundings and is equipped with the latest equipments and modern teaching amenities along with an excellent, proven and genuine record of above 80 percent Placement of students. The City office of the Institute is at the Administrative Block, located in the heart of the city at Khandari Farm Campus, at a distance of about two kms from Raja-ki-Mandi Railway Station and ISBT, Agra.

Admission to M. TECH: The admissions to M.Tech courses in Food Technology, CS, EC Et Biotechnology (First Semester) shall be done as per ordinances of the University. Preference shall be given to candidates having GATE score.

COMPUTER CENTRE & INTERNET FACILITY:

The Institute is equipped with 600 latest Quad

Core Et Dual Core systems loaded with

advanced software and this facility can be

availed by the students / staff for any type of

Computing/Research/ Learning purpose. This

is also equipped with WiFi Internetfacility.

LIBRARY: The institute has a well-equipped , spacious and airconditioned library to cater to the needs of staff and students. The library has

about Thirty Five thousand (35,000) books and

6000 Titles. 146 Various Journals of

Technology and Sciences are also available.

CLASSROOMS: The institute has capacious, well lit and well ventilated classrooms, equipped with necessary furniture and LCD Projectors for the students.

HOSTEL FACILITY: The hostels at Bichpuri, accommodate nearly 1250 students in spacious Et well equipped rooms. Four hostels for boys and One hostel for girls are available. There is provision of RO water plants and Generator Backup facility in case of Power Failure, in all the hostels. The Internet facility has been extended to the hostels also.

AUDITORIUM & CONFERENCE HALL The institute has a big centrally air conditioned Auditorium for conducting

extra curricular activities and conferences along with a well furnished

Conference Hall for meetings, placement activities and online workshops.

SCHOLARSHIPS:

Scholarships / Freeship are offered to the students as per the State

Government norms. Besides this, financial assistance is also available for

the needy and deserving students from the Students Aid Fund of the

Institute.

MEDICAL FACILITY: The Institute has a well qualified Medical Practitioner and the students can

avail the medical facilities, free of cost at anytime during the college hours.

The Institute also has links with well equipped hospitals of Agra to deal

Admissions:

ADMISSION TO B.TECH / B.ARCH / B.PHARM: The admissions to First Year and Second Year (B.Sc Graduates and Engineering diploma holders for Engineering Courses & Pharmacy diploma holders for B.Pharm) will be made as per the rules prescribed by the Academic Council of Dr. A.P.J.A.K. Technical University. Direct admission to second year is not allowed in B.Arch course. Admissions shall be done through counseling of UPSEE and AIEEE qualified candidates. Direct admissions are made by the Institute on vacant seats and management seats as per the guidelines issued by the University. A candidate desirous for direct admission should apply on an application form, available at office and also on our website, along with the copy of the marks sheet of qualifying examination, showing his/her eligibility and merit for admission. This application must be accompanied by a crossed DD of Rs. 25,000.00 in favour of "Raja Balwant Singh Engineering Technical Campus, Agra", payable at Agra. This DD is refundable at any time before admission. If the candidate applying for admission is not admitted, his/her DD will be returned. If admitted, this DD amount of Rs. 25,000.00 will be adjusted against the fees to be deposited in the institute. "PLEASE NOTE THAT NO DONATION OR EXTRA FEES IS CHARGED FOR ADMISSION"

LABS: The institute has fully developed Er well equipped labs with the latest state-of-the-art equipments for performing Practical and Project work.
