Hello Wildlife Camera Monitors,

Thank you all so much for your hard work and long hours volunteered to check and maintain these cameras. This is the second mini report for the Fall 2018 survey window. If you have any requests about data or images you would like to see, let me know and I will try and incorporate them into future reports.

Please remember many of these cameras are taking photos in batches of three. All totals in this report are the number of images taken of those animals, not an actual count of each individual.

Additionally, not all cameras are represented in the report. Several cameras had technical issues or the data has not been delivered to Sky Island Alliance yet. However, I have included the volunteer owned cameras into this report as well. Over half of our data is from those cameras! In the previous report I was unable to analyze all of their data in time, but was able to for this report to provide a better view of the data SIA is collecting.

In summary, this report is an overview of the wildlife trends we are noticing in the Sky Island region this fall that I wanted to share with you, and not a comprehensive summary.

Thank you for your understanding and enjoy,

Meagan Bethel

There were lots of babies recorded on the

both species of deer had several showings of

young.

White-tailed deer continues to have the

most photos taken of them. During this fall

window there were 2685 images.

Ironically, there were lots of great pictures

of wild turkeys the Thanksgiving season! Like

these fellows from the Lower San Pedro River

near San Manuel.
