It’s the parts you don’t see. When you build it from scratch, you need to know what

you’re working with. That’s why at LightArt, we make

everything we can in house and source the rest locally,

because we need to know what we’re using only the highest

quality parts possible. Starting with materials made in Utah

by 3form, we’re proud to use American-made components.

Locally sourced, handmade in Seattle.



Every story has an opening chapter. It all began from the home of Ryan Grey Smith and Ahna Holder upon a special design request for a custom made, 11 foot chandelier. Ryan knew the sheer scale of the massive piece demanded an innovative approach. Armed with a pile of sketches, home improvement tools and an artistic vision, Ryan started on his quest.

By heat-forming translucent resin to make it malleable, the chan-delier sprung to life. Manipulating resin became the foundation from which LightArt was born, and a few became many. Skilled artisans and visionary designers came together to make LightArt become what it is today. Subject to one or more U.S. or International Patents or Patents Pending


ELEMENTSThe design style of that original chandelier

became what is known as “Elements”, a style

that we’ve applied to products from pendants

to table lamps, to chandeliers towering over

40 feet high.
