    The Denville Recreation Ski & Snowboard Programwill once again be offering Saturday Night Ski &

    Snowboard Trips this winter to Shawnee Mountain.This program is great for families, as well as young

    adults and is open to ALL Denville Residents. Ourtrips are fully chaperoned and all Middle School &

    High School Students are welcome.

    reduced by $50.00. (2012 Lift Ticket and Bus

    Registration received after November 16th will result in a$10.00 per week additional cost.

    Our first scheduled trip will be Saturday, January 5, 2013, weather per-mitting, and will run for 6 weeks. The basic package includes charter bus

    Registration will be held on Wednesday, October 3rd, from 6pm to 7:30pm in the

    Community Room located in the Municipal Building.

    As of Thursday, Oct. 4th, registration will be accepted daily in the Recreation Office dur-

    ing office hours.

    Cash (exact change) and checks (made payable to: Township of Denville) will be accept-

    ed; sorry no credit cards will be accepted. No refunds once tickets are purchased or sup-plies have been ordered. Sorry no exceptions.

    Trips and activities may be cancelled due to lack of participation. In the event this should

    occur, all fees will be refunded.

    All Denville Recreation sponsored activities are open to all Denville Residents and open to

    non-residents one week after initial registration, with the exception of ALL Adult SportsActivities which are for Denville Residents ONLY.

    The Sunday Senior Socials will be held at the Church of the Saviour,155 Morris Avenue, in Denville, from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. The social is

    sponsored by the Denville Recreation Committee and is open to all seniors

    55 and older and is free of charge. The social offers a Sunday afternoon offellowship, dancing, and refreshments. Seniors, come out to an enjoyable

    Sunday afternoon! You do not have to dance to attend this function. Thereis ample parking and the facility is handicap accessible.

    The Denville Recreation Co-Ed Volleyball program is open to

    all Denville Residents 18 and older. Participants will meet eve-

    ry Tuesday & Thursday from 8pm to 9:30pm in the RiverviewGym. This is a fun non-competitive program. Come out & en-

    joy the fun. Sign-ups are Wednesday, October 3rd, from 6pm

    to 7:30pm, in the Community Room in the Municipal Building,

    or daily in the Recreation Office as of October 4th. Fee is $10 per player. Proof of resi-

    dence is required. This program starts October 11th and ends on May 9, 2013.

    DENVI LLE RESI DENTS ONLY!!! All residents 18 and o lder are

    Tennis Court Information: Badges are required for the use

    of all tennis courts. Badges are $8.00 per player or a family

    of 4 is $20.00. Badges are available at all registration dates

    or in the Recreation Office daily from 8am to 4pm.

    Professional Tennis Instruction is given at the Gardner Field Tennis Courts onweekdays & Saturdays for children & adults. Instruction for all levels of play:

    The Denville Recreation Department is offering a Saturday Morning KidsClub for children in Grades K-3rd. Activities will include an arts and crafts

    project, games, story time, group activities and much more! The Saturdaymorning program is run by the Summer Plus Director Dana Zeleny and

    Summer Plus Supervisor Courtney Campbell.

    Session Dates are as follows: October 20, 2012, November 10, 2012,

    December 8, 2012, March 9, 2013, April 6, 2013, and May 4, 2013. Eachsession is held from 9am to 12 noon in the Community Room in the Denville

    Municipal Building. Cost is $15 per child per session or any 2 sessions for $25 per child.

    This program is limited to 25 children. Deadline is 2 weeks prior to the class. Applicationsare available from the Recreation Department, or if you have any questions please contact

    The Denville Recreation Department will be hosting the Rutgers CoachsSafety Clinic on Tuesday, November 20th, Wednesday, March 20, 2013

    Wednesday, April 17, 2013, Wednesday, July 24, 2013, Wednesday,

    September 25, 2013 and Wednesday, November 20, 2013. Registrationstarts at 6pm, the class begins promptly at 6:30pm. The Safety Class is3 hours long. Pre-registration is required. Please e-mail the Recreation

    Recreation Winter-Indoor Soccer - PreK to 4th GradeRegistration for the 2013 Winter-Indoor soccer session will start in October. Registration forms will beavailable at www.hubsoccer.org and the Denville School web Friday folders. You can also register on-line and pay by credit card at www.hubsoccer.org. The cost is $70 with a family max of $120 for 2 or

    more players provided you register by December 15th. After December 15th the cost is $120 perplayer and there is no family discount. All participants will receive a long sleeve t-shirt.

    The Winter-Indoor session is at Morris Knolls High School gym and runs on Sunday afternoons from12 noon to 4pm. Starting times by grade will not be available until mid December. Each grades ses-sion is 45 minutes to 1 hour. The indoor venue consists of skill building drills and scrimmages. Targetstart date is January 6 and the last day is TBA pending any weather cancellations.

    Any family experiencing a financial hardship can contact Don Casse, HUB Soccers president at 973-627-8173 or [email protected] to have their child play at no cost. This policy applies to recreationaland travel players, but the request has to be received before the registration deadline.

    8v8 Soccer of Denville, is sponsoring a challenging & affordable Elite Player Development clinic for boys& girl travel players. The clinic will be run by Coach Z & the Morris Knolls Soccer coaching staff.

    The venue will consist of 2 skill specific sessions. The first hour will focus on developing the total playerwith agility, speed technical & functional training. The first hour will also include goalie training withCoach Len Meyers. The second session will consist of small sided games with tactical concepts training.

    The session will run on the following Sundays: February 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th. Training session runsfrom 4pm to 6pm in the Morris Knolls main gym.

    Cost is $90 per player & a family discount of $135 for 2 or more. Team cost is $80 per player for 8 ormore players. Coaches should collect team registration forms & checks & mail together.
