As you see in the paint isle of most Home Centers, there are so many “shades” of grey from blue-greys, brown- greys, rose-greys, violet-greys, sage-greys, and just grey. Grey can add drama, add calmness, add movement, and be the background color to add color with. How do you use grey without changing every color in my house? Treat grey as the accent color. Use grey with burgundy, or browns in a grey patterned pillow. Combine colors like gold, taupe, red, turquoise, yellow, deep sage, navy with grey. Pop in grey as a window shade color with a trim color from your household color palette. Use a grey throw with a navy plaid sofa or print of multi colors. Paint your walls with a soft warm or cool grey color along with your household colors and watch the room beam in a different perspective. Use grey in accents of ceramic, smoked glass, silvered glass. Add grey lamp shades for a softened evening light setting. Grey shades look great on a chandelier of satin nickel, oiled bronze, polished nickel, or brass metal. Grey compliments wood tones from oak, walnut, maple, cherry, or any species without restaining your suite. A cool color brightens warm wood tones. Ready for a change, try grey! Grey is not a mystery color after all, it is just another “beige!” Home Tips from Susan Essential Oils Mailout Essential oils have become a popular home remedy of late. helpers.

In an effort to raise awareness of what homemaker's clubs do, how they can educate, inform and help ladies become more well rounded, we need the assistance of members. Please volunteer a couple of hours, or even one! We plan on having a table set up during the McCracken County fair in the Floral Hall. We want to pass out information to prospective people who may not know about homemaker's clubs in this area. The fair dates are June 19-24th and we are thinking of having the booth open from 6PM to 8PM each evening. All you need to do is sit at a table provided and hand out information to prospects. We are hoping to get the participation of each club in McCracken county. Please discuss this with your club and see who can give us a bit of your time. This should count and community service hours as well. Diane Shrewsberry will have a schedule available to pencil in the date/dates you can work the booth. Her number is 270-519-4473. Lets add some new members!!
