Who? Why?To create a website for Dan Howell that will appeal to his fans and help give him more publicity.The website will be entertaining whilst providing information about Dan.

There currently isn’t a website that is dedicated to Dan Howell but there are websites for other Youtubers such as Pewdiepie and Charlieissocoollike.

These help to promote the internet personalities further, as well as being easier to use for audience members as it connects all existing promoting platforms together in a single place.

Goals

I have some basic skills such as being able to insert divs and JavaScript and add text styles.I would like to include several video gallery that will help me to put a lot of videos into a small place.

Skills

AudienceDan appeals to females 13-17 mostly, as he is a fairly young male and regarded as attractive

Dan considers himself ‘a nerd’ and often refers to popular games in his videos

Dan also can appeal to music lovers as he is a Radio 1 presenter, as well as being a lover of music himself

Being ‘nerdy’ also means that Dan talks about Anime films and programs

Moodboard

AssetsTumblr is full of assets that I can use, including gifs and fan fiction images.

BBC radio 1 podcasts are accessible and I can embed them.

Being a Youtuber, there are hundreds of videos that I can embed into my website on to a video side scroll, to save space.

Alumomusic creates a lot of copyright free generic vlogging music which I can use, using insert audio or music embed.

There are many images on the internet of Dan. I can also get screen shots from existing videos.

Using either Google fonts or another downloadable font will make my site more unique.

I can include twitter feeds and Facebook feeds as Dan is always posting on social media.

I will create an image slideshow that will describe all of Dan’s achievements.
