A l b u q u e r q u e Performing Arts CenterDesign was focused on placing music at the center of

design, both conceptually and physically.Philharmonic’s program is very simplistic requiring two music halls: a main auditorium that seats approximately 2,000 people, as well as a smaller Jazz music hall that would seat 700 people; however, it’s not the program that makes this project interesting,it is spatial quality that creates such a dynamic presence. the philharmonic hall wants to create the experience of taking people to a different world through the architecture and the music and be intriguing enough that attract people to come to this area.It will be a new destination for both residents and tourists.

L i q u i d L i g h t In the Namib Desert, where every living thing tries

to survive under harsh sunshine, there will be a city. A place that provides whatever that is necessary to begin a settlement. A prototype for future cities, when desertification and overpopulation make people choose desert as a place to live. The vein of this city is connected to a river, The river provides just enough water until the next precipitation, so there will be adequate water all year long. The water running through the city is not only a substance of life, it also brings light. It makes it possible to light a place without opening a window. The light bends and turns in water tubes, reach inside people’s houses and enlighten spaces it passes by. The light will fall with the waterfalls and making lower levels brighter, it bounce backs from ponds and brings light to surrounding spaces.

OLIGOPTICONThe architecture of robustness. The output, no longer singular in its response, has a range of adaptive qualities. Just as asking Google a seemingly infinite amount of questions (each input more revealing than the last), the expectation of an output is granted. An equation leading to equality, but troubled by output variance. In search of the infinite architecture, a seemingly elevating approach to robustness,it becomes an endless sea of solutions which have ‘evolved’.Oligopticon, the inverse to Foucault’s panopticon and famous French philosopher Bruno latour’s idea on Paris, constructs questions that resignating for the stagnating architecture. Will architecture transform itself in such a way that it is never visible in a single,a contour, the cells erode. New nodes materialize. The interstitial spaces begin. Elk roam where, without our down and wool, we cannot. A single snow flake, the disruption of comfort to the Elk?‘Not so fast,’ responds the bouncer, ‘can’t you see this is my winter coat you are trying to break free? It doesn’t work that way, young flea. Wait until the summer sun, when the days are longer and the nights much warmer.’The building moved with glee. Its skin expanding under a warm summer sun. A sunscreen adjusting for your eyes and mine. But just as comfort is found, the leaves fall. I hope you were watching. The metals contract; in-between life emerges. It penetrates the massing, and heat radiates.Excuse my deficiencies, thoughI cannot be forgiven. I am just a building, but with you my sun,an architecture emerges.’

The modules works as a aperture, when it heated up, in warm seasons, the bimetal panels will expand to shade the building. In Cold seasons the aperture will get close to allow more sun light in.

The apertures’ openings will not be the same all around the building since not all sides of the building will experience the same temperature, and that will give the building a dynamic look .

Museum Of Human’s Legacy This museum give a chance to each individual to make

a personal museum. People can show their favorite things and data, and chose what will be shown as their cultural legacy to next generation. This space also can be modified to meet the user’s needs. The whole shape of the museum changes as the visitors do. The structure is made from series of boxes that can be divided into smaller cubes, and be used to build new forms for different purposes. Users can place cubes where they want or subtract them to make a view. Making a personal museum inside the main one. As users accumulate, more cubes will be subtracted and this reflect the population of the museum. The museum becomes alive when people visit.

Visitors take or replace the constitutive cubes from the main cubes to make windows, doors, stages for lecturing, seats and etc. this makes the museum’s elevation dynamic and looking different each time someone visits.
