    FAITH COMMUNITY CHURCH

    Baptized with Christ

    There are many ways to

    measure a churchs health, but

one of the most important is the

    impact it has on peoples

relationship with Jesus. We arecelebrating with a few who

    recently received Christ as their

Savior and with a bunch who

were ready to follow Him in

    baptism. 14 people, from adults

    down to children, were

baptized in the St. Joe river

with 125 friends & family in

    attendance. This step of

    obedience signals a new

intention on their part tomake choices that would

please the Lord; to get to

know Him better; and to be

His witness to others so they

too can come to know God.

    Now we together, as Faith

    Community Church, have

    the privilege and

    responsibility of helping

these disciples to the best of

    our ability. Their enthusiasm

serves as a challenge tothose of us who have been

    walking with the Lord for

    years to never lose that

    sense of wonder and

    gratitude.

GREAT DAY FOR BAPTIZING - Many

    times we have endured cool

temperatures, but the weather was warm.

DONT TAKE US DOWN - Young

adults like Martin made good footing even

    more important

WEVE GOT YOU - Rebecca doesnt

let a little water slow her down.

    New Format

    We have now begun our

    new 2 worship service

    format. For those who serve

our children, this has been a

    huge blessing. Now they

    can teach in one and

    worship in the other. Many

    other people have stepped

    up to help as ushers,

    greeters, and so forth. Are

you looking for a way to help

    out? Just stop by the

    Welcome Centerand fill out

    the volunteer form so we

can see what youd like todo or just ask one of us.

    September 11th an adult

    Bible study will begin at

    8:30AM (no childcare

    provided). Beyond that, we

    want to remind everyone that

there are groups for all ages

    and genders Wednesdays at

6:30PM. If this has not been

part of your habit, why not

    start setting aside 1 hour

    midweek to get to know

    church friends better as we

learn a bit more about God?Hope to see you there.
