ConStruCt ion

Sew all rights sides together with ¼"seam allowance.

• Take Template 1 from Fabric A and B and pair them in the following way:

• Take Template 2 from Fabric A and B and pair them in the following way:

Half Square Triangle:

• Take Fabrics A and B 3 ⅞’’ x 3 ⅞’’ square and fol-low the HST method

• Take (1) HST square, (1) 1 ½’’ x 3 ½’’ strip and one 3½’’ x 3 ½’’ square from Fabric A and pair them as in the diagram below

• Take (1) HST piece, (1) 1 ½’’ x 3 ½’’ strip and (1) HST square from Fabric A and pair them as in the diagram below

• Join both pieces together

• Take (1) 5 ½’’ x 6 ½’’ rectangle from Fabric B and one 2 ½’’ x 2 ½’’ square from Fabric A and place on the corner left up , right sides facing your Fabric A

square.

• Sew at ¼’’ seam away from your diagonal.

• Trim excess Fabric

• Join both pieces as in the diagram below

• Take (1) 3’’ x 2 ½’’ rectangle from Fabric A and (1) 2½’’ x 3’’ HRT

• Join them as diagram below

• Take (1) 2 ½’’ x 2 ½’’ square from Fabric A and (1) 2½’’ x 3’’ HRT

• Join them as diagram below

DIAGRAM 9

• Take both assembled pieces and one 5 ½’’ x 1½’’ strip from Fabric B and join them as diagram below

• Take (1) 5 ½’’ x 7 ½’’ rectangle from Fabric B and one 2 ½’’ x 2 ½’’ square from Fabric A and place on the corner right down, right sides facing your Fabric A square.

• Sew at ¼’’ seam away from your diagonal.

• Trim excess Fabric

• Join both pieces as diagram below

DIAGRAM 12

•Now Take Block 1 and Block 2 and join them as in the diagram below, creating your musical note block.

•Quilt as desired
