“I Can Never Earn Enough to Buy a Radio” from page 1 »

Others consider FEBC their lifeline: “Please pray for believers to have faith, so we can stand strong against all kinds of hardship from the government. Thank you, FEBC, for helping us know our Savior and have hope.”

Others say: “Your broadcasters are like old friends, guiding me through the ups and downs of my life.”

Smuggling Radios to North KoreaFor 60 years, FEBC-South Korea has been reaching the North through our high-powered AM stations. We also partner with other ministries to deliver radios into North Korea by 1) smuggling them across the

China border and 2) floating them in helium or hydrogen-filled balloons. So far, 2000 radios have made their way into North Korea from China, and our balloon ministry has sent over 900 radios since 2012.

Radios + Ethnic Broadcasts = Changed LivesMany ethnic groups have never heard their language on the radio. But when they receive a radio from FEBC, as many as 25 people eagerly tune into our broadcasts. The messages they hear about salvation in Christ have led millions to faith.“I was very excited when I received a radio from FEBC. Thank you for giving me the means to listen to your programs. Every broadcast nurtures my soul and I am growing steadily in my faith.”

At FEBC, we believe radio is one of the most cost-effective tools God has given the Church to reach the world for Christ. Your support allows us to distribute radios and deliver life-changing messages. Thank you for partnering with us. It’s an honor to serve alongside you. Thanks to you, we distributed 7,000 radios in 2016.

2017 Goal 15,000 or more radios

With your help, we can reach 375,000 or more people with the Gospel.

Thanks to you, FEBC provided this family with a radio to hear FEBC’s Gospel broadcasts.

DID YOU KNOW?FEBC BIBLE CORRESPONDENCE COURSES ARE CHANGING LIVES!

FEBC-China’s Liangyou Theological Seminary Bible Correspondence Course trains thousands of Christians, including pastors and lay leaders serving in Mainland China, with 4,000 active students and 700 annual graduates.

FEBC-Thailand has 38,151 people enrolled in their Bible course; 93% are from other faiths. Many are prison inmates. Countless letters from listeners describe their journey of faith that led them to the Lord Jesus.

FEBC-Japan has offered a Bible Correspondence Course since 1982, with more than 5,000 people enrolled. We receive 300+ letters a month from Bible Study students and develop a one-on-one relationship with them. When a level of trust is developed, people are open to the Gospel. The Lord is touching many lives through this Bible Study.

The Impact?Bible Correspondence Courses reinforce and strengthen FEBC’s mission of sharing the Gospel.

Here are just a few of the thousands of letters we receive from our Bible Study students:

Japan: “As I read from the Book of John, I could sense the living Christ speaking to me directly. It felt like a miraculous experience! I’ve never read the Bible before and now I’m convinced Jesus is alive and abiding in me and directing me. I will continue to listen to FEBC and depend on Jesus.”Thailand: “Thank you, Jesus Christ, for giving me new life when I received You as my Savior. After studying FEBC’s Bible lessons, I see my life changing. I know for sure that God loves me. I’m living according to the teachings you shared with me.”

JOSHUA PROJECT DIRECTOR PRAISES FEBC

Dan Scribner, Director of the Joshua Project, recently spoke with

us at FEBC. Launched in 1995, the Joshua Project was established to focus global attention on unreached people groups and the remaining unfinished task of the Great Commission.

Well aware of FEBC’s 72 year commitment to reaching the hardest to reach with the Gospel, Dan offered these encouraging words:

“FEBC is a key leader in bringing the Good News of Jesus Christ to the most Gospel-starved people groups in the world. They are actively adopting new technologies to impact the least reached. Creative innovations like the Gospel Chip and Gospel Box are making Scripture and training available to those who have no other means of access to the Truth.”

FEBC’s achievements, however, have only been made possible through God’s grace and the support of committed supporters like yourself. Thank you!

Note: Numerous references to FEBC’s impact on reaching ethnic groups for Christ are found throughout the Joshua Project.

Earlier this summer, two of our staff ascended an 11,400 foot mountain in central Kyrgyzstan by traversing a rock-strewn, deeply rutted dirt road.

Why?

To make our radio signal stronger and clearer.

Once they got to the top, they installed new satellite dishes and a processor.

Tourists Are Captive AudienceThe Issyk-Kul station, launched in 2015, reaches some 300,000+ people who live in the region permanently. But in the summer months, the population swells to over 1 million people, attracted by the pristine lake at the base of the mountains. Tourists come from near and far to enjoy the natural beauty of this area.

We’re so grateful for your help. Through your partnership – and the grace of God – people are hearing the Good News, finding hope and following Jesus. Thank you for walking alongside FEBC to bring people to Christ!

Don’t miss the one minute video that captures the trip: www.vimeo.com/223701786

And stay tuned! In the next 6 months, by God’s grace and with your help, we hope to establish our 4th station in Kyrgyzstan.
