Hey Trojans,

The term is almost ending but I’m honestly

proud of our work. Most of our division goals were

achieved except for two important ones: membership

and fundraising. Please continue recruiting people

and fundraising so we can accomplish our goal.

Your Lieutenant Governor,

Alex Tellez

Congratulations to Gina Cedeno on becoming Division

5 South’s Lieutenant Governor Elect! We look forward to

the 2015-16 term with you.

Gina staged an amazing speech that gained

her much respect as elect. With her 4.2 GPA,

we know she will be an outstanding Lieutenant

Governor.

Congrats on the baby Alex. She’s going to go

really far.

Kiwanis believe in keeping children strong,

healthy, and smart. That is why our

partnership with the U.S. Army is very

important.

They are committed to:

Building awareness of education and career

options among Kiwanis Family members

Identify innovative ways to emphasize

education, service to the nation as a pathway to

success

Heighten awareness of the benefits of Army

service and Officership

The goal of the Pediatric Trauma Program (PTP) is to educate

individuals on children’s safety in order to decrease the

number of injuries and deaths due to traumatic unintentional

injuries. This program seeks to train pediatric doctors, nurses,

and first responders, purchase specialized pediatric

equipment, and develop aspects of community outreach.

Raising funds for this cause will benefit the children who suffer

from these accidents because 90% of all unintentional injuries

can be prevented. The funds go toward the training of

pediatric doctors, nurses, and first responders, as well as

toward the purchasing of costly and necessary medical

equipment.

Our main focus

for fundraising

this month

should be

towards PTP!
