To establish new World and Continental Records,
To promote safety and develop Freefall Style and Accuracy Landing parachuting.
To exchange experiences and strengthen friendly relations between sport parachutists andjudges.
To present a different sport to the entire public, and sport authorities
To allow participants to share and exchange experience, knowledge, and information.
To improve judging methods and practices.
3. Dates and Location of the World Cup
3.1. Event Dates.

3.2. Location of Event
Airfield Escuela de Aviación (Aviation School) is part of Air Force Pilots School and is locatedclose to the City of Córdoba (approximate 12 km from the City center to the West). It has a1.600 m (one mile) paved RWY, in a huge open area. The location is easily accessible fromthe National Highway N#9 Buenos Aires- Córdoba.

3.3. Details of access to location by air
The city of Córdoba has the third largest airport in the country Ingeniero Ambrosio Taravella International Airport. This airport is located at only 15 kilometers (20 minutes by car) from the drop zone. Aerolineas Argentinas, Copa Airlines, Latam & Air Europe operates there.
Buenos Aires City has two International Airports, a lot of European and American Airlines uses Ezeiza Airport. South American Airlines operates in Jorge Newbery Airport (Aeroparque)
Today, there are more than 20 flights per day between Buenos Aires and Cordoba City Airport
4. Transportation
We recommend to fly to Cordoba City Airport (COR). In addition to being a national Hub, some international flight operates at this Airport. Travel from Airport to Villa Carlos Paz (accommodation) takes about 45 minutes, and to EAM (Dropzone) only 25 minutes.
For those booked prior March 30, the organization will provide a free transport between Córdoba City Airport and the accommodations.
All competition days, Organization will provide free transportation from the airport to Dropzoneand vice versa.
However, (not included in the entry fee), there are regular bus lines that already exist that connect the DZ and Córdoba City center every 20 minutes (costs about EUR 0,50)

5. Entry Fees & Registration
5.1. Entry Fees

5.2. Entry Fee covers
Competition jumps & Re Jumps, Accommodation & meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner), Localtransport under scheduled time (shuttle hotel – DZ – hotel), Farewell dinner, FAI Sanction Fee(EUR 90,00)
5.3. Entry dates
As SC5 states Preliminary Entry Form of a NAC must reach the Organiser at least 75 daysprior to the start of the competition. (March 3, 2019)
The Final Entry Form and the Payment must reach the Organiser at least 45 days before thecompetition (April 4 2019). Late entry must pay EUR 100, 00 per person
5.4. Registration procedure
Each NAC must send its endorsed Final/ Preliminary entry Form to [email protected], in order to process it properly.

6. Dropzone details
6.1. EAM airfield is at 492 meters MSL, with a 1 600 m 01/19 paved Runway.
There is a group of large hangars to the north within a large open area. All event stations and facilities, such as registration area, judging area, media area, office facilities, competitor indoor area, bulletin boards, etc., will be located within a 300-metre radius. The rigging area, restaurant, toilets, are already present at the drop zone and situated at a very close distance from one to another.
A group of tents (rest rooms) will be located closer to landing zone. Judges, media and score system team will have their own tent close to landing zone.

6.3. Previous event(s) experience at the particular venue(s)
Although Parachuting competitions do not usually take place in this area, almost every August10 each year, EAM is chosen as the center of the commemorative event of the anniversary ofArgentine Air Force, as is usually the case venue of big aerial festivals where thousands ofpeople congregate in each edition.
7. Aircrafts
Aircrafts to be used for all events will be Pilatus Porter PC6 and Cessna 208 Grand Caravan and for wind drift and re jumps, a single motor Cessna Series 170 or 180. The number of aircraft will be regulated in accordance to the number of competitors and the other requirements.
8. Pre event
8.1. The organiser will provide the aircraft, presented above (preferably a Pilatus PC6)) for trainingjumps before the competition. Accuracy landing pre competition training will start 3 days before the competition start (May 18 to 19). Free fall style judging equipment will be available from May 19.

Training, before May 18, will be possible but due Air Force Operations restrictions, not at the EAM Dropzone. We will use an Army facility near to the EAM Airfield (5 kilometers).
The Organiser requests all interested parties to notify their possible arrival for pre-competition training at least one month earlier, in order to provide effective arrangements.
8.2. Pre event Jump costs
The prices of training and orientation jumps are:
- Style EUR 35,00- Accuracy EUR 18,00
9. Accommodation details
9.1. World Cup accommodation
Villa Carlos Paz hotels will accommodate competitors & accompanying persons. Airfield facilities at EAM will house Official & Judges. Additional days before and after the official arrival/departure days must be paid separately and will only be possible at Villa Carlos Paz hotels (no EAM Guest rooms) or Córdoba City. The number of the persons in addition to the official delegation is not limited. The arrangements of their accommodation will be coordinatedin cooperation between the Organiser and the delegation members. (Not included in the special fees for Championship) Any damage to the hotels etc. is the responsibility of the persons involved.
9.2. Extra days and partners
Villa Carlos Paz offers a wide range of hotels, apartments and B&B, Villa Carlos Paz is 25 - 30 minutes far from EAM and 45 minutes from Córdoba City.

9.3. Local Transport
During competition days, the organisation will provide local transport by bus between hotelsand the airfield (Dropzone) Buses will depart on 7:00 am from Hotels to Dropzone, and 7:00pm to 8:30pm from Dropzone to Villa Carlos Paz Hotels.
Tourist buses will be on offer, between Airfield and Historic City, included bilingual (EnglishSpanish) guides.
10. Equipment
10.1. Personal requirements
Helmet and AAD are mandatory. The reserve repacks cycle in Argentina is 180 days

10.1. Equipment requirements
It is the responsibility of the competitor and registration will be taken as a declaration by the Delegation and competitor that the parachuting equipment to be used, is certified as being airworthy by competent authorities (see Sporting Code, Section 5, 5.1.1 [1]).The Organiser has no responsibility in this regard; the responsibility rests fully with the Delegation and competitor.
Due Argentina´s Civil Regulations, (RAAC Part 105), reserve parachutes must be packed between the last 180 days.

12. Judging & Scoring
12.1 Electronic scoring equipment
Austrian Airshot system/and approved video system will be used for both Freefall Style and Accuracy Landing competition.

An official information board will be at the competition site

Our intention is to manage a FAI Judge training course before the competition starts, more details will be available as soon as possible in agreement with the Judges Committee.
13. Medical / emergency details
13.1. General medical services
An ambulance vehicle with reanimation equipment and paramedical team for emergencies willbe available at the accuracy venue. An all-terrain ambulance will be at the Style landing zone.
13.2. Available medical facilities
Hospital de Urgencias is a public health center located in the city of Córdoba, specialising inthe treatment of accidents and other medical emergencies. It is located in the center of thecity. The hospital is managed and operated by the Municipality of Córdoba. Extraction time is about 25 minutes or less.
14. Insurance details
14.1. Personal Health insurance and repatriation coverage are the responsibility of each participant and is highly advisable. All competitors must have full third party liability insurance valid in Argentina. The Organiser provides liability insurance coverage to third parties for the event. This does not apply for any damage caused by a participant in free fall or under canopy. Any such damage is the responsibility of the parachutist.
Any damage to the hotel rooms etc. is the responsibility of the person/persons involved.Personal items and equipment are the responsibility of each participant.
14.2. The Organiser will arrange event liability insurance coverage for Officials and Judges.

16. Rules and Regulations
16.1. Competition Rules
We will use the Competition Rules for Freefall Style and Accuracy Landing 2019 EditionEffective 1st March 2019, and FAI Sporting Code Section 5 - Parachuting Class G –Parachuting and Indoor Skydiving2019 Edition, Effective March 1st, 2019
16.2. Dropzone Rules
National Regulations are RAAC Part 105 Edition 2019
16.3. Doping requirements and control
We advise that Doping tests according to WADA regulations are possible.The World Anti-Doping Code (Code) is the document that harmonises regulations regardinganti-doping in sport across all sports and all countries of the world. The Code provides aframework for anti-doping policies, rules, and regulations for sport organisations and publicauthorities.These tests will be carried out by the Argentinian Olympic Medical Team. The Code is a livingdocument, and WADA ensures it evolves regularly by engaging in extensive consultation andthorough review of the Code and its associated International Standards on a periodic basis.
17. Weather
17.1. Statistical meteorological data, based on information of the past 5 years.
The climate of the city of Córdoba, is humid subtropical, moderated by the Pampas winds,cold winds that blow from the Southwestern quadrant, originating in Antarctica.There are four marked seasons. Summer run from late November until early March, andbrings days between 28°C and 33°C and nights between 15 °C and 19°C with frequentthunderstorms. Heat waves are common, and bring days with temperatures over 38 °C andhot, sticky nights; however, Pampero winds are sure to bring relief with thunderstorms and aday or two of cool, crisp weather: nighttime temperatures can easily descend to 12 °C, but theheat starts building up right away the next day.
Due to the extension of the metropolitan area, there exists a difference of 5 °C between thecentral area and the Greater Córdoba. The central district, a dense high-rise area is located ina depression, and it is the core of an important heat island. May is a mild month, during themonth temperatures are quite low, especially during the day. Daytime temperatures go from

26-27 ° at the beginning of this month to 21-22 ° at the end of May. Nighttime temperatures gofrom 12-13 ° at the beginning of May to 10-11 ° at the end of the month. The sky is in half thecases clear. However, there are also days with cloudy or mostly cloudy sky. Rarely are theredays with drizzle and rain or foggy days.
17.2. Winds
During May, there is usually very weak or light breezes, but in some exceptional cases, thestrong breeze can reach 37-38 km / h.
18. Other matters
18.1. National flag and anthem (as per SC5)
The FAI sporting code requires that each delegation must bring its own national flag and itsnational anthem in a MP3 format to be used in ceremonies. The recommended flag size is100cm x 150cm, and depending on a maximum number of potential medalists in onecategory.
18.2. Date of issue of Official Bulletin #2
The Bulletin #2 will be provided no later than 15.03.2019
18.3. Opening and Closing Ceremonies
Villa Carlos Paz will host the Opening Ceremony and a Delegation Parade. The Closingceremony will be held on the last night of the competition (May 25) at the School of Aviation´sParty Room and it will include the Closing ceremony banquet and award giving ceremony forthe Combined competition.
18.3. Other Planned Social Events
The organiser will arrange various excursions to regional sightseeing spots and different localcultural and traditional elements during the competition. Various recreational activities will beoffered as well. The Tourism Office from Cordoba offers guided visit to the historic center andother beautiful places of interest.
In addition, the Tourism Office of Villa Carlos Paz offers a wide spectrum of interesting placesto visit at no more than two hours far from it.
