THE GENERAL OBJECTIVES
The general objectives of the FEI Solidarity are defined as follows:
to promote the fundamental principles of equestrian sport;
to assist the NFs in the preparation of their Athletes and Teams for their participation in FEI Competitions;
to develop the technical sports knowledge of Athletes and Coaches;
to improve the technical level of Athletes and Coaches in cooperation with NFs, including through scholarships
to train sports administrators;
to collaborate with organisations and entities pursuing such objectives, particularly through FEI education and the propagation of Equestrian Sport;
to create, where needed, simple, functional and economical equestrian sports facilities in cooperation with national or international bodies;
to support the organisation of competitions at national, regional and continental level under the authority or patronage of the NFs and to assist the NFs in the organisation, preparation and participation of their delegations in regional and continental Games;
to encourage joint bilateral or multilateral cooperation programmes among NFs; to urge governments and international organisations to include Equestrian Sport in official development assistance.

THE AIM The aim of the FEI Solidarity Plan is to provide the NFs with the tools to develop equestrian sport in their own country in a sustainable, structured, progressive and professional manner.This assistance takes the form of:

The structure of FEI Solidarity is based on four pillars which can be considered as most important for any process of development of the sport, i.e. the Athlete, the Coach, the National Federation, and Equestrian Values

THE AIM To help National Federations improve their administrative structure through education, IT solutions, as well as to offer them advice and consultancy on any aspects of equestrian sport through different types of support and assistance including :

THE VALUES
THE AIM Equestrianism is a lifestyle that promotes the partnership of the human and the horse. This way of life is based on horsemanship.
These values include, but are not limited to:
Responsibility, including the preservation and protection of the Welfare of the Horse.
Sport (Olympic Values) such as fair play, pursuit of excellence, joy in effort as well as balance between mind, body and will.
Health prevention, rehabilitation and therapy.
Education , youth and knowledge development
Environment such as natural resources, consumption and technology.
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) such as National Federations’ and FEI’s responsibilities to positively impact through its activities in the natural environment

APPLICATIONTIMETABLE
1st July FEI Solidarity to receive application forms for the next year
September FEI Solidarity to notify relevant parties.
NOTE FEI Solidarity programmes do not substitute themselves to the OLYMPIC SLIDARITY (OS) programmes. NFs applying to OS programmes must follow their proper procedure via their National Olympic Committees (NOCs)
HOW DO I APPLY?
Application for assistance shall be submitted to FEI Solidarity through the National Federation concerned by 1st July of the year preceding the date for which the assistance is required.
The enclosed application form shall be downloaded from the FEI Solidarity webpage, and sent to FEI Solidarity by email, duly completed and signed.
The final decision on funding will be based on the proposed development project and the benefits it may have on the sport. Once the final decision has been made, a letter will be sent to each applicant (NF) indicating the amount of funding or nature of technical assistance they will receive.
